POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Indie Comics Ending Soon on Kickstarter. I tried to put a special emphasis on stories coming from artists of all walks of life. Independent comics should be one of the best spaces for marginalized voices to thrive! Which are you gonna read?

Parallel Truths is a multi-genre graphic novel anthology. The full books feature 12 exclusive stories from incredible voices, all paired with some of the best artists around. There's less than two hours left for its crowdfunding campaign. You ready to dive in to 248 pages of original artwork?

Last Friday Knight is the comic I'm most excited to read this year. It's genre-bending, medium-bending, and all from a creative partnership that might genuinely be too great together to stay together. This story is practically indescribable, and if that doesn't scare you away, doesn't that make it a selling point?

Punchline and The Vaude-Villains vs Violante is the next chapter in what has been described as one of the best indie comic universes of all time. Thankfully, this story serves as a jumping on point for anyone not already familiar. What better time to join in on the fun?

Noir Is The New Black is best described by the voices behind it, who call it an archive of everything that came before, and a new beginning for noir stories by black creators! If you talk the talk of supporting black artists, are you ready to walk the walk?

Bi Visibility: Bi Bi Bi speaks for itself. As a bisexual comic creator myself, I just had to give a nod to the latest launching pad by one of the brightest voices in indie comics right now. Kat Calamia isn't known to miss, so why should you miss out?

Danger Boi vs. The Statesman is one of my favorite send ups of cape comics in a long time. Danger Boi makes a fresh story out of familiar tropes, and best of all, is extremely unflinching about what the book has to say. Will you join this satire adventure before you hear about it at the Eisners next year?

Dark Sentinel issue 2 follows the titular anti-hero on the next mile of his road to vengeance. If you're into a darker shade of super heroics, then this might suit your style. Plus it's published by the local legends at Wise Acre, so how could I resist?

Update on the Danger Boi fundraiser for @monarca.minn . Thanks to everyone who has ordered a copy of the comic! As I’m writing this, I’m seeing headlines that the 🧊 operation in MN is reportedly “coming to an end,” but I’ll keep my eyes and ears open to see if that’s actually the case. As stated in the video, I’m open to shifting the focus of the fundraiser to other groups outside of MN should they be in more immediate need of resources.

Thanks for everything, friends. Stay safe 🤘
