EPHESIANS 2:10
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

What a privilege it is to pour into the next generation, may it all be for your glory JESUS

Querido Diario 🖋️🇵🇷

For a long time I ran away from my Puerto Rican heritage. I hid it like it was something to be ashamed of or to suppress as unimportant. In the Bible, it often talks or mentions the place where one comes from. Why? Because it is important. Where you come from is important to your story. It is impossible to describe how this trip has impacted me. Being able to walk where my family history is traced to or go to the city my dad was born in has been such a blessing! I can only give God the glory. He is the one who placed the desire within me to learn more about my culture, He is the one who opened the door to go on this trip, and He is the one who gave me a team that has become like family to me. I am filled with gratitude and a full heart of joy when I reminisce on this trip. Thank you Jesus for revealing to me the joy of my salvation. A joy I pray would continue to overflow from within me onto others. Thank you for showing me your heart for the people of Puerto Rico. A people filled with joy, love, and a passion for You. Thank you Jesus for making me Puerto Rican and filling me with the spirit of an island of dreamers who seek after You and Your Spirit. Thank you to my team who supported me throughout this trip; your impact on my life will never be forgotten. And thank you to those who donated, prayed, and intercessed for this moment. Thank you for sending me to the nations to bring the lost home to their Father in Heaven. A Father who is mighty and strong, but also longs for His children to come home. I’ll be forever grateful for this opportunity.

Con Amor, Alyssa 🤍

Puerto Rico, you will always hold such a special place in my heart. I’m so thankful for @terraviv and for a team that quickly became family. @seumissions There were so many laughs, unforgettable memories, prayers, and moments together that I know I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.

Being able to evangelize, pray for others, share my testimony, and connect with so many amazing people was something I’ll never take for granted. The Lord used every conversation and every moment of serving to prune me and teach me what it truly means to be vulnerable, humble, and bold. I went to Puerto Rico ready to pour into others, but God poured so much back into me. 🇵🇷❤️
