ARE WE REALLY TRYING TO STOP GENTRIFICATION, OR ARE SOME COMMUNITY LEADERS JUST POSTURING? I’ve written two books on gentrification, own Gentrification.com, and spent years traveling the country researching, lecturing, and establishing myself as a national expert on the subject. Yet, I continue to see community leaders and organizations bringing in unqualified speakers to discuss an issue that’s destroying economic opportunities in our communities. Are we looking for real solutions, or just holding meetings, taking pictures, collecting funding, and pushing agendas? Where are the discussions about property ownership, access to capital, business development, and generational wealth? I’m not saying I’m the only qualified expert, but shouldn’t experience, research, and results matter? While people are talking, our communities are changing ownership! At some point, we must ask: Are we fighting gentrification or just making a career out of talking about it? — TJ Loftin Economic Futurist | National Gentrification Expert | Author 🌐 www.TJLoftin.com 🌐 www.Gentrification.com #TJLoftin #Gentrification #MonetizingGentrification #CommunityLeadership #GenerationalWealth EconomicEmpowerment

OUR ELDERS HAVE A STORY TO TELL, AND WE NEED TO LISTEN! As I travel around the country sharing my research into OurStory, Not History, I often make it a point to sit down with our elders, listen to their experiences, and learn from their wisdom. One thing I hear over and over again is how many of our people once worked with their hands. We were mechanics, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, welders, homebuilders, and business owners. We repaired our own cars, built and maintained our homes, and passed those valuable skills down to the next generation. But what really gets my attention is when the conversation shifts to how those trades and opportunities gradually disappeared from our schools, neighborhoods, and communities. We start discussing what changed, who benefited, and how losing access to those skills affected our ability to create businesses, jobs, property ownership, and generational wealth. This is why my research into Booker T. Washington, Tuskegee Institute, C.R. Patterson & Sons, and the Industrial Revolution is so important to me. Our elders remember a time when knowing a trade wasn’t just about getting a job. It was about independence, ownership, survival, and building wealth. We can’t afford to let that knowledge disappear with the generations who lived it. OurStory isn’t just about remembering what we accomplished. It’s about understanding what we lost, how we lost it, and what we must do to rebuild it! — TJ Loftin Automotive OurStorian | Economic Futurist | Author | Filmmaker www.TJLoftin.com #OurStoryNotHistory #TJLoftin #WorkingWithTheHands #SkilledTrades #BookerTWashington Tuskegee GenerationalWealth BlackHistory EconomicEmpowerment

Simply Wholesome is more than just a restaurant to me — it’s a place that feels like home! ❤️ It’s one of my favorite places to enjoy a great meal, connect with my people, catch up with old friends, meet new faces, and even promote and sell my books! There’s something special about being in a place where good food, great conversations, culture, community, and entrepreneurship all come together. Every time I visit Simply Wholesome, I’m reminded of how important it is to support businesses that bring our community together. For me, it’s never just about the food. It’s about the people, the relationships, the love, and the opportunity to share knowledge while supporting one another. Good food, good people, and good energy! That’s what keeps me coming back! — TJ Loftin #SimplyWholesome #TJLoftin #SupportBlackBusinesses #CommunityEconomics #OurStoryNotHistory BlackEntrepreneurship GoodFoodGoodPeople

🔥🌊 AHEAD OF HIS TIME! DISASTER ECONOMICS & BUILDING BLACK OWNERSHIP! 📚 Legendary car builder, entrepreneur, economic futurist, and bestselling author TJ Loftin was years ahead of his time when he wrote Monetizing Gentrification: Building Black Ownership. Long before today’s devastating wildfires, floods, and natural disasters dominated the headlines, TJ was educating communities about disaster economics—how disasters impact property values, create economic opportunities, accelerate gentrification, and change who owns the land and businesses when communities are rebuilt. The question isn’t just who loses everything during a disaster. It’s who profits from rebuilding afterward—and who gets left behind. TJ’s book challenges readers to think differently about real estate, economic development, wealth creation, and protecting ownership in their communities. 📚 BUY YOUR COPY TODAY! 🎤 BOOK TJ LOFTIN to speak at your next conference, college, community event, or economic empowerment summit. 🌐 www.TJLoftin.com OUR STORY. THE IMPORTANCE OF MATH IN BUSINESS — REAL-LIFE LESSONS FROM THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY! While attending the STEAM Expo at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College as a guest speaker and panelist, I was asked a very important question: “How important is math in business?” I immediately thought back to one of my former businesses, Compton Wire Wheels, where we manufactured and sold custom wire wheels. I explained that math played a major role in our daily operations, especially when it came to shipping our products overseas. Imagine trying to load a shipping container with hundreds of wheels and boxes. You have to calculate the dimensions, weight, available space, shipping costs, and how to maximize every inch of that container without exceeding its weight limits. Every inch of wasted space could mean lost revenue, and every mistake in your calculations could cost your business money! That’s when I explained to the students that math isn’t just something you learn in a classroom to pass a test. It’s something entrepreneurs use every day to make decisions, solve problems, calculate profits, and grow their businesses. As a celebrity car builder, manufacturer, and entrepreneur, I’ve spent decades using math in ways I never imagined when I was sitting in a classroom. The same math students are learning today could help them become tomorrow’s engineers, manufacturers, business owners, and industry leaders. That’s why events like the STEAM Expo are so important. They connect what students learn in school with real-world opportunities. We weren’t just talking about building cars. We were talking about building businesses, creating wealth, and preparing the next generation for ownership!
