🚨 HOOKING UP THE LESS FORTUNATE IS BACK THIS SUNDAY! 🚨

We’re heading back to Skid Row for another day of giving back, and we need the community to come together with us. ❤️🙏

📍 333 S San Pedro St, Los Angeles, CA

We’re looking for donations of:

👕 New or gently used clothes
🧥 Jackets, sweaters & blankets
👖 Pants & shorts
🧦 New socks & underwear
🧼 Toiletries & hygiene kits
🍕 Food, pizza, snacks & drinks
✂️ Barbers / hairstylists willing to donate haircuts
🙌 VOLUNTEERS to help set up, organize and hand everything out

If you have clothes sitting in your closet that you don’t wear, this is the time to put them to good use. If you own a restaurant or food business and want to donate food, we would greatly appreciate it. If you can’t donate anything but want to show up and help, we need you too.

This isn’t about how much you can give. It’s about showing up for people who need it and reminding them that they haven’t been forgotten.

THIS SUNDAY • SKID ROW • LOS ANGELES

DM me if you want to donate, volunteer, cut hair, or get involved. Please SHARE THIS VIDEO even if you can’t make it. Someone who sees your share might be able to help. 🙏❤️

❤️🙏 13 YEARS STRONG 🙏❤️

What a day. I’m still trying to put into words what we witnessed this past Sunday.

What started as another Hooking Up the Less Fortunate event turned into something so much bigger. We brought pizza 🍕, food 🥫, toiletries 🧴, clothing 👕, suits 🤵, haircuts ✂️, facials ✨, music 🎶, dancing 💃, laughter 😄, and most importantly… LOVE ❤️.

A huge THANK YOU to every volunteer, donor, barber, sponsor, and community member who showed up and made this possible. Special shoutout to ❤️ Love For The Streets, 🎶 @rayandnite, and 🎧 @djvixen for helping create an atmosphere that brought joy, energy, and hope to the streets of Los Angeles.

For a few hours, Skid Row didn’t feel like Skid Row.

It felt like a neighborhood block party. 🎉

People were dancing, smiling, getting fresh haircuts, connecting with one another, and simply enjoying the moment. For a little while, many were able to forget the struggles they face every day and feel what it’s like to be surrounded by people who genuinely care. ❤️

And then something incredible happened…

For the first time in the history of our event, we ended the day with a non-traditional 12-Step meeting. 🤝 We joined hands, recited the Serenity Prayer 🙏, shared messages of hope, and even came together in prayer for a man who was struggling. It was a powerful reminder that recovery, healing, faith, and community can change lives.

This wasn’t just about giving away supplies.

It was about restoring dignity. ❤️
It was about creating connection. 🤝
It was about reminding people they matter. 🌟
And it was about proving that even in the darkest places, light can still shine. ✨

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, prayed, shared, and showed up.

We’ll be back. ❤️🙏
