Zelda (aka DJ Zel) was the youngest disc jockey to play on radio in the United Kingdom! 👏🏾

2022 has been full of awards and recognition for Zelda, from being named among the top 100 most talented kids from around the 🌍 at this year’s Global Prodigy Awards! Being awarded at the Global Kids Achievers Award and recently Zelda has been appointed by the Newham Borough to be a Young Commissioner! Which means she gets to play a huge role in decision-making, making sure the borough of Newham’s services are meeting the needs of young people!

We are in awe with how wonderful you are at just 12 Zelda! An award-winning, senior business professional with over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. A British-Nigerian with a BSc and MSc in Pharmacy from the Ukrainian Academy of Pharmacy in the former Soviet Union, and an MBA from the University of Liverpool, resulting in a cross-cultural background which has enabled her to push for diversity and cultural awareness in the global business place at every opportunity for herself and others.
Shalom is the Founder of Naturally Tribal Skincare, a natural chemical-free skin care company built on valuing healthy, ethical and sustainable living whilst empowering African women.
Shalom is also the Chief Strategy Officer at Emerging Markets Quality Trials (eMQT), an organisation focused on diversity in Clinical Trials providing the global pharmaceutical industry access to patients in Africa.
She holds several NED positions on the Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce and SEMLEP boards. Shalom is World Trader Freeman and a Department of International Trade Export Champion, a Mentor and a strong believer in the fact that anything is possible!

The conception of Naturally Tribal Skincare arose from the birth of Shalom’s twins. Shalom Lloyd gave birth to fraternal twins in 2014 following four cycles of IVF. One of the twins had severe eczema and would scratch his skin raw. Aware of IVF's impact on the body in terms of its chemical processes, Shalom was determined to find a solution for her son’s skin that was as natural as possible. Shalom then spent the first six to eight months with her young twins researching natural remedies to look after Joshua’s skin. It wasn’t until Shalom looked back to her Nigerian heritage that the answer presented itself: Black Africans, black people in general, take for granted the traditions and heritage of natural remedies and we grow up with. Shalom’s kitchen became a laboratory where she researched and mixed the right balance of natural products used in her family through the generations. It took a while, but she hit upon the correct balance and mix of ingredients that worked wonders to clear up Joshua’s skin.
