• Power and devotion; from @dk.snapped ✨

|The picture displays a statue of Demosthenes, personifying Eloquence, holding up the moon during sunset, in front of the Faculty of Arts, in Coimbra, Portugal.
Reminding of two quotes:
“Language exerts hidden power, like the moon on the tides.” — Rita Mae Brown
“The sun loves the moon so much that he dies every night to let her breathe, and in return, she reflects his love.” — Jeffrey Fry |

“Il sole ama così tanto la luna che muore ogni notte per lasciarla respirare, e in cambio, lei riflette il suo amore.” — Jeffrey Fry |
