Where does your dribble come up? 👀🏀

We want the ball coming back to our pocket. The same place we keep it in triple threat.

Why?

Because that’s where we shoot from.

The closer the ball is to our shooting pocket, the faster and more efficiently we can get into our shot.

Less wasted movement.
Quicker release.
Dribble with purpose. 🎯

Big one tomorrow for our guy Conor Morgan! 🇨🇦🏀

The @ubc_mbb alum suits up for his first EuroLeague game as @besiktasbasketbol returns to the EuroLeague for the first time since the 2012–13 season.

Always a pleasure having Conor in the gym and being a small part of the work that goes into moments like this.

Best of luck this season, Conor! 🦅🔥

NUMBERS 🧠🏀

Ball handling isn’t just about moving the basketball it’s about being able to process information and make decisions while controlling it.

In this cognitive warm-up, the athlete is alternating their dribble while reacting to numbers 1–10:

EVEN ➡️ Between the legs
ODD ➡️ Behind the back

Want to challenge the brain even more?

On the way back, flip the rules:
EVEN ➡️ Behind the back
ODD ➡️ Between the legs

Now the athlete has to break the pattern they just learned, process the new information, and adjust on the fly.

Wake up the brain. Get the handle ready. 🧠🏀

People see the coach.

They don’t always see the years spent competing around the world, playing in championship games, and sharing the court with players who reached the NBA and Europe’s highest levels.

Every lesson from those experiences is something I try to pass on to the athletes I work with today.

The journey continues.
