🚨 WAITTTTT! YOU’RE THROWING AWAY YOUR VEGETABLE SCRAPS?! 😩🥕🧅

BABYYYYYY, THAT’S NOT GARBAGE… THAT’S FLAVORRRRR! 😂🔥

Last Monday on FOX 2 Detroit, I dropped a little QUE TIP that could save you MONEY and help you control the sodium in your food!

Here’s the trick! 👩🏾‍🍳

Every time you chop vegetables, SAVE THOSE SCRAPS!

🧅 Onion ends and skins
🥕 Carrot peels
🥔 Potato scraps
🥬 Other clean, usable vegetable trimmings

Throw them in a freezer-safe Ziploc bag and POP THAT BABY IN THE FREEZER! ❄️

When you’ve collected enough, simmer them in water, strain, and BABYYYY… YOU’VE GOT HOMEMADE VEGETABLE STOCK! 🙌🏾

Why do I do this? Store-bought stocks can be LOADED with sodium, and making your own lets YOU control how much salt goes in!

💡 QUE TIP: 1,500 mg of sodium per day is a recommended goal for many adults, especially those who need to limit sodium. So READ THOSE LABELS!

LESS WASTE. MORE FLAVOR. MORE MONEY IN YOUR POCKET! 💰

Now tell me… ARE YOU SAVING YOUR VEGGIE SCRAPS OR HAVE YOU BEEN THROWING AWAY LIQUID GOLD?! 😂👇🏾

It’s officially Fall… but is it SWEATER weather or SWEATY weather where you live?! 🍂🥵🧶

Florida is still sitting in 90-degree humidity, so @emaricraft and @kyliejonestv called in a favor from FOX meteorologists ALL across the country—from Houston and LA up to NYC and Seattle—to find out who actually gets to wear cozy clothes right now (and who is still melting). ☀️💨

Is your city Sweater Weather or Sweaty Weather today? Drop your state and temp in the comments! 👇👇

A respected local news bulletin has been brought to a grinding halt this week after presenter Deena Centofanti attempted to conduct a mature discussion about one of nature’s most sought after sources of fat and meat.

While discussing the survival series Alone, Centofanti innocently asked co-host Ryan Ermanni whether he believed he could eat beaver if his life depended on it. Unfortunately, Ermanni’s ability to behave like a grown man did not survive the question.

Meteorologist Derek Kevra offered little assistance as the pair abandoned decades of combined broadcasting experience and reverted to Year 8 students hearing the word “penis” during science class.
