🌅Opening Night Film Screening for AADF2026 was a blast! A night of sunsets and screenings thanks to MCASD and our talented filmmakers.

We were so honored to be joined by some of our filmmakers for a Post-screening Q&A. Thank you all who could attend!

Love!
Thank you Hannah, Vrisika, Jess, Deanna, and Forest for bringing so much joy amidst your projects around grief. You are the reasons why Joyce and I are doing this. May our communities continue to be blessed with your voice, your presence, and your love.
Enjoying an afternoon in the sun while I think of what continues to blossom. #aadf

When life gives you lemons...

Serve. 🍋😎🏸

Had such a great time playing with this concept, and was able to bring my love for all things citrus and my childhood badminton training into it (raise your hand if you too were traumatized by California Badminton Academy 🙋‍♀️)

We’re excited to announce our 2026 cohort…

Residents - @h.h_joo & @_forestlee
Intern - @dkrysm_

This year, we expanded our Collaborative Residency program to include both a choreographic residency and a production internship. Residents focus on dance making, collaborating, and exploring their multicultural identities, while interns dive into dance production and administration through hands-on work with AADF and other AAPI arts organizations.
