Took the DELTONA boys @deltonamusic back to where it all started for me… the Music Mill, now home to NSAI. It’s where I recorded “Achy Breaky Heart” and the Some Gave All album in June of ’91, and watched my dreams come to life.

Then the boys told me NSAI helped bring their band together. Same place, different generations… now making music together. That old water wheel keeps turning, and so does the music. Full circle!!! ⭕️

Got a few more tricks up our sleeve!!! Can’t wait for y’all to hear THE HILL Deluxe Album… 11.6! 🤘

Happy Birthday to my manager Scott!!! Hope your day is full of magic and prosperity!!!!

What a special night!!! Thank you @deltonamusic for letting an ole Kentucky boy join you at the cool kids table. Watching y’all chase your dreams reminds me why I fell in love with music in the first place.

I stopped by @dollyparton's home today. I’ve been here before, but today felt completely different.

Standing there and seeing the flowers, balloons, handwritten notes, drawings and little pieces of love left by people from around the world was overwhelming.

I was fortunate enough to know Dolly and spend several years working alongside her, but moments like this remind me that she belonged to all of us in a way. Everyone has their own Dolly story, their own song, their own memory, their own reason for loving her.

Seeing all of that love gathered outside her gates was something I’ll never forget.

The world loved you, Dolly. And it always will. 🦋💗✨

So crazy. Talk about full circle. Just re-cut Storm In The Heartland for my deluxe album out Oct 23 in The Castle, the same studio where I originally recorded it 30 years ago. So appropriate and ironic after the devastating storms across the Midwest. Seeing this again leaves me with a heavy heart and reminds me of their resilience. Working together they will rise above this … I’ve seen it before … first hand.

This moment feels a lot like 2019 OTR... only in reverse! It’s Alright ft. @steverayladson out tonight!
Hope you like the new sound … I call it Mix 2 !

It’s a The Beatles-esque moment at Abbey Road Studios. Took this next shot while we tweaked the mix!
