Seen some awesome shots come through of the 306 Sedan today from @meraki_automotive.
She did me proud after a last minute rush to the finish line to get the car built back up and running. A water pump and cambelt change, the day before the show was less then ideal, and zero time to bed her left everything at a complete roll of the dice.

Unfortunately temperatures became unstable on the way home and it looks like she's sprung another water leak from the back of the block that will need addressing asap. Pressure in the system seems to keep building until the weakest point let's go. Could be a sign of a lazy stat, air still in the system or maybe the dreaded headgasket 😫

The end is nigh

The last few weeks has been absolutely manic trying to get the Sedan done for show season. Its been a massive reminder to actually plan things better, rather than trying to execute a plan last minute on a spur of the moment thought.

The engines been removed. Turbo coldside modified to re-route for an intercooler. Stiffer actuator springs installed. Metal water manifold installed on the back of the block. Custom 2.5" into 3" induction piping. 2.25" boost pipes into a twinpass intercooler and an 11mm pump build, with machined LDA top, 6 bladed vane pump and other various mods.
Compomotive TH have now become the new daily wheels.
Suspension has been upgraded to BC Racing coilovers in the quest for more lows and better ride quality. These had to be modified with custom hardware courtesy of @stef205 to get them fitting up with thrust bearings on BakerBM camber adjustable top mounts. Test fitted the Dimma's to ensure clearance on the new suspension aswell. To say there close would be an understatement, but clearance is clearance right?
The rolling shell went away to @dlapaintworkz who undertook the task of sorting the warped rear quarter and rusty roof. This quickly escalated to a full car respray after realising just how bad the other panels were, and the 50 shades of white. Harry rose to the challenge and despite me being a difficult customer, has managed to get the 306 looking like ive never seen it before. Still struggling to come to terms with the fact its my car...
All thats left now is tracking and the bumpers to be sprayed with three free days remaining until the first show... will we make it?

At the end of show season last year I decided to reveal the 205 Dimma split rims on the Sedan.
The response was like nothing I could have anticipated and now this year the cars been excepted into some shows and spots i vould have only dreamed of before.
I've sat contemplating the condition of the paint work for some time and knowing the level of shows ive been excepted into i was starting to get cold feet.
After being turned away by a few painters, @dlapaintworkz rose to the challenge. What was initially a few panels to touch up, became a whole car after I saw the quality of work going into her.
Im absolutely blown away with what ive seen so far and still struggle to believe my vision for this car is coming to fruition.
Hopefully this weekend, the engine goes back in and the body panels on ready for a final cut and Polish.
There's still lots more to do, and there's no time to let off the throttle now 🙈
