to celebrate 2 weeks of our single Porcelain, we’ve made a playlist showing off some of our favourite new UK music from (roughly) the last year. we’ve got tracks from friends, from enemies, and perhaps even from lovers. every one is highly rated by us nonetheless. it’s by no means a comprehensive survey of the scene, just a small selection of what we’ve been listening to lately. there’s much to enjoy for one and all. link is in our bio and can be found on our spotify artist page. bands included: @hollyhead.band @oedipusandthemamasboys @normalvillage @pushbikeband @otalaband @_another_country_ @san.jose.band @bathingsuitsband @tina__sandwich @imaginaryhus_band @deliriumbanduk @myrushmoreband @el_we_ll @dlfband @the_scuttlers @kioskband @banditcountryml1 @thegreatunwashedband @sherbetstarshine @tanzana.band @lacuna.music @mleko.mcr @footfootband @consciouspilot @domesticpartnersband @abandcalleduniversity @duramaterband @speedialband

Feeling soppy and nostalgic as our 4th birthday draws nearer! This Wednesday we will be at The Art of the Scene @226gallowgate Curtsy of @vix.visual who has set up this brilliant night showcasing all the wonderful artists involved in music! We have dug to the deepest depths of cupboards, found relics we believed to be extinct and have compiled a selection of SMC artefacts to give away on Wednesday for free! Badges, stickers auld and new and hunnnnnners of posters from over the years! We will also be punting our t-shirts and our brand new @fheadain cds. These are not free unfortunately but cheap as chips. T shirts £15, cds £5 And if that wasn’t enough our very own @pvctheband will be performing as well! Which is class. They will be joined by the wonderful @frasermaccallummusic 🦆 and @solasta_band And whilst we’ve got you here, no doubt captivated with our recent social media post we thought we should mention our birthday gig only has 30 tickets left! This will be selling out very soon (surly) as it certainly is a lineup to behold! Tickets for this are also a fiver. It is at @1990.gla on the 9th May and it will be a late for sure! @thesankaras @thefroobz @foreign2band @fogbandits & @comfortgirll will be there too. Tickets and such in the usual place, thank you for reading, and liking and sharing and commenting and reposting and most importantly buying!
