Stay with us at the coast 🌊

@innatnyebeach offers a wonderful beachfront room with a view that includes breakfast and is even pet-friendly too WOW!

this was actually his first stay in @newportoregon and we loved waking up to the sound of the ocean and breakfast in bed.

the @innatnyebeach offers exclusive beachfront access so we loved taking coco out and walking straight down to the ocean.

keep walking for just a few minutes down the beach and you’ll find so many things to explore at the historic Nye Beach area.

a form of energy healing 🤲

just you, me, and the stars as our guide baby

I found reiki randomly on a side quest to ski, I figured I would give it a try and little did I know that it would actually change my life

since my first session five years ago, I have focused on finding a new center and new ways to feel grounded, now as a reiki master

I practice holy fire reiki, a form of healing to help others feel more connected to their mind, body, and spiritual purpose on earth.

have you had reiki yet? will you try it w me?

perfect pancakes every time 🤖

what do you think of this pancake machine?

it offers up golden brown stacks of flap jacks right to your plate with a wave of your hand

I really enjoyed watching the pancake making process and then eating them too!

big news, we moved 🚛

#hamstur packed up the truck and took it back to our hometown in Montana for a bit.

We are both hoping this is a temporary move then back to Oregon to buy some property!

For now, I need to spend some dedicated time at my parents' home after their recent passings.

I have been doing my best to go back and forth almost every 3 months since losing my dad in 2023, but as someone who is grieving, was taking care of my mom, and also trying to work and live full time in OR.

It didn’t give me much room to focus on, well, much of anything. Losing my mom in 2024, then my job in 2025, and now Oregon in 2026, it’s a lot to deal with and process.

What’s next? I have seriously no idea. I’m feeling lost, like the ocean has me held tight in a rip tide. There is no point in fighting the current; I’m just trying to keep my head above water and see where life takes me.

I am grateful that my parents worked so damn hard to share their blessings with me. Taking this chaos of life one day at a time and already planning my next trip to Oregon!

miss you more 🤍

grief is a weird one that I have unfortunately been dealing with since losing family tragically at a young age; grief changes you

it reshapes who you were and makes you think about things a lot differently than before you have dealt with death in your life

these people shaped our lives, and now we, as grievers, carry the pain of missing them on the daily, it sucks to know love and loss

grief has made me nostalgic
it makes me stare longer at the birds
i’m always looking for the grief signs
with no concept of time, because
missing them is always on my mind

i promise you I’m trying to be here, I want to and wish I could get lost in this moment with you, but my mind is lost in the land of grief

please stay. i’m so unsure that you won't stay, that my grief and pain will take over, my uninvited guests will scare you away

grief is a weird one, I wish I could explain, but at the same time I can't and don’t want to or you to ever feel this and know my pain.

summer 26 bucket list ✔️

caviar nachos at the coast are truly primo

by far one of the best ways to bring snacks, soak in the rays, and watch the waves all day

I take my snacks seriously enough to pack up the caviar on ice and prepare all the tiny accouterments before we left the house

Caviar Nachos
- 1 bag caviar @patatastorresofficial
- 2 oz hasselback caviar @zupansmarkets
- a lot of fresh chives & dill chopped
- shaved hard boiled egg white & yoke
- capers of course
- crème fraîche
- mother of pearl spoon

the nachos are so easy to open everything and pour it on the crisps so you can enjoy each perfect bite with an easy clean up too

try it with a couple of crispy booch @brewdr

my sustainable pro tip is to save your caviar jars for future boards & serving at home

would you try caviar nachos at the coast?
