I didn’t expect Polo Fest to have had such a profound effect on me, the scale of the exhibition really only could’ve been experienced.
It brought back all the memories of working for RRL & Ralph Lauren and the 10 years+ of my life spent chasing that dream, from working at the stores to working in design and countless late nights at 650 Madison.
To this day it has influenced every aspect of my life, and changed the way I see things. Not only that, but all the lifelong friendships that were made along the way. Especially Doug, a mentor and friend who I first met in 2012, we’ve still kept in touch all these years and it was thanks to him, he opened doors for me and many others.

Met Danny in RL today over from NY, and had to congratulate him on his awesome efforts in creating the Polo fest space. It was some of the best work I’ve ever seen combining an awesome understanding of how VM is fantasy fulfilment.
