chronicles of a housewarming: the prep

@rotiibrown inspired me to go to the garment district to purchase fabric for my tablescape

all I needed to do was come with measurements and an idea of what color/fabric I wanted

went with a butter yellow chiffon

then spent about 3 hours cutting and draping the fabric the night before 🥴

round tables are tough and it was never “perfect” but I stuck with it

day-of I sent some wonderful friends to the DTLA flower market for a haul

gave them a budget of <$200 for the entire party

gave them a moodboard of what I envisioned

brought out every vase & glass imaginable for them to use. I did not purchase any new vases

then they went to work

had another friend pick up the cake from @enabakery.la

Sasha the owner made an olive oil

while I ran to Costco

had this vision of incorporating a DIY spritz station so used some cards and toothpicks for the instructions and set up everything upstairs

spoke to @nevineee over the phone a few times to discuss my vision for light bites

she supplied additional serving platters and went to work

the tablescape was an actual dream thanks to @boardsbyveen

threw on my dress from @elexiay and was ready to party!

Bridal Shower of my dreams🥂🤍👰🏽‍♀️
Thanks to my Mom and cousin for hosting the perfect Persian tea and lunch and to my friends and family for showering me with love. I’ll never be over all the details from Raffi’s and the fesenjoon my aunt made, to homemade floral arrangements and the Hugo spritz bar, I feel so loved.
