$Story time once again.. I dont know why I am always that close to accidents because I already experienced a few very nasty ones in Brazil last year that's why I am always in higher attention mode now. I saw him floating in the water with his kite released on the water. At first I thought he might lost his kite but when I kept coming closer I started to see that something really bad must have happened. We took him out of the water and realised the situation is even more serious because of an open fracture. You probably can imagine how it looks so I won't go into further details and I am really happy that he hasn't passed away in the water which could have easily happened with that much force and pain he must have gone through. The "funny" part of the whole situation was that he is a trauma surgeon so he already knew what's going on and what to do to relief his pain a little "pull on the big toe" was his statement. It seems that the pressure which was involved released it by pulling on the toes. The second "funny" part was that the paramedics and the doc already knew his surname because of work. So another quick reminder of how fast things can change even tho you're very experienced in what you do. One little mistake, one little miscalculation can change everything, so please take care especially because the storm season started now. To all my fellow riders from all across the world please always check on eachother, you're going to need it one day as well.
