“If you don’t love everybody, you can’t sell anybody” - Jerry McGuire
These young men and women are more than a financial transaction, their people’s child’s, their people’s most prized possessions. Representing them means more than a business transaction. It means caring for your players on and off the field. It means being available to your athletes. It means being there for the good times and being there when times aren’t so good being an agent is being a mentor. It is being a counselor. It is being whatever your client needs you to be at that moment. If you’re genuine, they will sense it. My biggest downfall my heart is too big and unfortunately that comes with pain sometimes because as I always tell my own kids, people will let you down and I’ve been let down plenty in my life. I never want my athletes to feel that letdown. Lets work! #nil #collegeathletes #collegesports #collegefootball #studentathlete

Having an agent does not mean you’re entering the transfer portal.
You do not wanna wait one week before the end of the season or two weeks before the end of the season to choose an agent that is arguably going to be the most important time of your season. You also don’t wanna wait until a week before the transfer portal opens to try to go in and leverage or negotiate your contract with your school with somebody you’ve only known for two weeks. Fortunately, there are good companies like us that will always do right by the athlete. Unfortunately, this year, we will probably have close to 100 athletes reach out looking for representation around Portal time that we won’t be able to represent all. And it truly concerns me because there are a lot of people in this business for the wrong reasons. Growing organic relationship a good agent will alleviate any stress for you throughout the season. A good agent will be somebody you can count on to call that will pick up the phone and talk to you. A good agent will handle all of the outside noise so you can concentrate on football. A good agent will work hand-in-hand with your family if need be and that’s what you desire. Good agents are hard to come by in this industry. Everybody is an agent now. And during the Portal everybody’s gonna have their hand out because that’s the easiest time and the shortest time. Period for an agent to get paid. Talk to the guys that are trying to build relationships with you now. That those guys make sure they’re registered athlete agents. Make sure they have a law degree on staff. Make sure they have an NFLPA certified agent on staff. Make sure they have a CFL PA certified agent on staff. Make sure they have more than 2 agents. Make sure they have a marketing team make sure you’ll have a marketing manager. Basically a company who ❎ all the boxes!! Make sure you#nil have @athlete_asset_protection #nil #collegefootball #collegesports #collegeathletes
