Yesterday’s Mudgeeraba Rollout was lovely. We had people from as far as Lismore and Brisbane, including amazing rollerdance skaters Dion, Holly and Brianna, and also DJ Charles, who many of us see at Rollerama all the time hosting the sessions, being the DJ, managing the games while still finding time to occasionally go onto the rink and skate amazingly. There’s a beautiful video of yesterday's rollout at Instagram.com/__wits_end__ DOWNLOAD Attendees can download the video from the following link, which expires in 7 days time. https://fromsmash.com/MudgeerabaDecember CREDITS ⦿ Dion (Instagram.com/dmanroy.skates) ⦿ Brianna (Instagram.com/rose_skatess) ⦿ Cat & Barry with doggo Pepper ⦿ Charles & friends ⦿ Glenn ⦿ Holly (Instagram.com/lollyskater), Paige and Ben ⦿ Jessica ⦿ John ⦿ Josh ⦿ Kristy, Blair & London. ⦿ Martyn ⦿ Martina (a.k.a. “Marzilla”) & Jasmine ⦿ Michelle ⦿ Rachel & Julio (Instagram.com/julio.espin.digon) with doggos Redbull & Molly ⦿ Apologies to those new people in the photos who’s tags/names we didn’t catch. At the Mudgereeba Roll Out yesterday (@goldcoastrollout event 15.12.25) I also made an alternative sparkly space and stars version of the same video but I didn’t like it. Not sure where to put that. I might put it on YouTube if they don’t take the short down 😂 If you are in any of my videos and would like your Instagram handle mentioned in the description (so people can find you), please let me know. Alternatively I can tag you in the video and you can remove the tag if you prefer not to be tagged or mentioned. Hoping to make it to one more Roll Out this year but that window keeps getting smaller. It’s always a good day when I can come and join, for however long I can. #goldcoastrollout #skatingwithfriends #starboy #stargirl #starkids #allwheelswelcome #goldcoast #rollerskating #inlineskating #skateboarding #event #starskaters

Hey just want to say thank-you to Skate Paradise for such an awesome party for our group, celebrating Khayla’s birthday. The whole experience from start to finish was wonderful; from the guest fast track, to the booths we had, and their amazing staff member Alex who was DJ'ing and played song requests from our rollerdancers, Kimmy Grace and her crew! There were cones out on the rink a couple of times for slalom skating, and the usual fun games and amazing skate skills from the hockey skating regulars. We got to demonstrate roller chariots also heh heh! At the end the staff even helped us take a group shot on the rink (sorry for guests that left early and missed out). On Sat 11 Oct it’s the first of the Halloween dress-up skates 🎃☠️👻🧟‍♀️. It’s the monthly roller disco at Runaway Bay indoor basketball stadium, hosted by Gold Coast Roller Sports ! The GCRS monthly discos are very popular with locals, as well as all the families of the figure skaters they train at that location. The venue is the size of a decent rink, spanning across all the courts, on a beautiful wooden sprung floor. ⦿ 5:30pm-8pm, Sat 11 Oct; Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium. ⦿ All ages Halloween dress-up roller disco! ⦿ Raffle with prizes. ⦿ Quad skate hire available. ⦿ www.revolutionise.com.au/gcrs/events/266280 They have a separate beginner skater area, and quad skate hire, plus an on-site canteen with hot chips, and other goodies. Great value for 2.5hrs, plus the occasional game for the kids, and always one or two speed skates. This club has been doing all this since 2000; so we have alot of love for them.
