2025 DMC WORLD FINAL TOKYO 🗼 OPENING ACT 🎧 DJ Ta-Shi On The Wheels Of Steel 🔥 Set Call “Song Who Scratching” Aladdin’s On a Rampage Rock The Bells Part 🔔 先月東京渋谷O-Eastで行われた 世界一のバトルDJを決める大会DMC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPの40周年記念のオープニングDJとしてこの大会に参加させて頂きました。 初のアジア、初の日本開催という歴史に残る素晴らしい機会に呼んで頂き本当に感謝しています🙏 40年の長い歴史と権威のあるこの大会でオープニングを飾るからには日本人では僕にしか出来ない何かでプレイをしたく、色々と考えた結果、世界中の多くのスクラッチDJ達に影響を与えたであろうDMCの世界チャンピオンやその他大勢の、このシーンに影響を与えてくれた偉大なDJの擦りを収録した楽曲の擦りの部分を僕のスクラッチや2枚使いを織り交ぜてプレイしようと思い、歴代の偉大なDJ達にリスペクトと感謝を込めて大切にプレイさせて頂きました🙏 かなりマニアックなテーマと選曲の為、会場にいた方々でもそれが理解出来た方は少なかったかも知れませんが、親友の @shortkut をはじめ欧米の方々には伝わってたらしくプレイ後、多くの方々に声を掛けてもらえた事が何より嬉しかったです😊 近年このシーンも進化する過程で誰が見て分かりやすいスキルの面が評価されがちですが、シーンの歴史や背景を理解した曲選び、構成などの深い部分にもフォーカスしてくれるDJ達が増えてくれたら、今後の日本のシーンも更なる進化が期待出来るんじゃないかなって独りで思っています… スクラッチやビートジャグリングはヒップホップと言うカテゴリーの枠から飛び出し様々な音楽との融合が近年のトレンドかも知れませんが、僕は黒人が生み出したこのアートワークに魅了されて始めた世代なので原点であるヒップホップの精神を忘れずにこのアートワークを僕なりの解釈で引き続き多くの方々に伝えて行けたらなと思います。 これからもターンテーブルアーティストが世の中の多くの人達の目に止まりシーンがより発展して行く事を祈っています🙏 DJ Ta-Shi⭐︎ #dmc40tokyo #fundmc #djtashi #whoisdjtashi
