Lancia Delta S4 - Montecarlo 1986 Winner - Henri Toivonen & Sergio Cresto - what a Magic Moments with this huge cars. Really quick on straigths specially dificult to brake and turn into the corners. Probably this fight between cars and drivers, mixed with the spectacular sound, creates an unforgetable era.

2k Gloss coat has gone down on Kermit.

@firescalemodeler 2k went perfectly again.
(And so did the dust in places.)
It's definitely popped the green & yellow livery.

All the fiddly stuff is up next while this set's

Body & Interior Colour is down for the
@pzymodel Ferrari 812 Competizione A.

I decided to go for something slightly louder than normal for me.

Body is painted in... Verde Kers Lucido
(Which I think the translation to English is Kermit's nut sack Green 😉).
Interior is going to be a 2 tone Kyalami Orange & texture black.

Last pics the colours definitely pop against each other and I'm looking forward to getting a gloss on the body.

Both @firescalemodeler paints went down perfectly as normal.
The green is the water based paint. So took 4 or 5 light coats to build up the colour. I will leave this 3-5 days to full dry before adding any decals.
Personally I do this just to be safe with the paint finish. If I was doing no decals I would I would 2k clear after 24 hours.
The orange is lacquer had 3 lights coats and is ready for decals after a hour or so.

Next up will be a little 🫣 but of carbon decals work.

Primer is down on most of the
@pzymodel Ferrari 812 Competizione A

Paint colour picked, and recommended primer colour is down.
@firescalemodeler primer has gone down really well as normal..
Grey for the body parts. And some of the interior Parts. (Interior should be white but unfortunately I forgot to check how much I had and it wasn't enough 🤦🏻 🤦🏻, but as the grey is quite light hopefully it won't effect the final colour to much)
Black for all the carbon Parts and some of the interior.

Body colour coming up next. 😁😁

📬📬 Little delivery from @firescalemodeler 📬📬

No body colours this time. I've got plenty of them in the paint stash. And yes it was very hard just to skim over them and not add anymore into the basket.

But this order is an interior colour & primer top up.

Colours added...
Matt black which gives a nice leather colour.
Kyalami Orange Leather.
White leather
Clay Brown leather
Cuoio Leather Ferrari.

White & Red Texture
Black & Grey primer..

Already got plans for a few of these. Just need to find some time at the bench to use them now 😞😞

Firescale have resently updated their website and it's a lot easier now to find paints by car company 👌👌

If you want to try these or just top up your firescale paints please use the code below for a little discount.

The paints are available directly from Firescale or over at @dmodelkits (Code works at both sites).

@pzymodel Ferrari 12 Cilindri spider...

Another well produced kit with plenty of options for building.
2 different seat options.
2 different wheel options.
Plenty of carbon fibre decals.
PE Detail parts.
The option to display with the roof on or off. Just need to add the little aero post if you display with the roof.

While looking for inspiration for this one I see a couple of these that had no carbon on the exterior and the body colour across the nose section. So I thought I would try that on this.

I'm a bit more taken with the roof off look.. but both work really well. Decided to go with no side windows aswell. As I'll display this roof off and in the real world you're not going to be driving with the sides windows up.

Exterior
Printed @firescalemodeler paints Rosso Vinaccia
2k Gloss clear coat
Matt black for the front, rear & side skirt.
Wheels gloss black.

Interior
Painted in various blacks to give a bit of contrast.
Kit carbon decals used but left as laid as I didn't want them to stand out too much.
Add yellow seat belts for the extras box to pop a little bit of colour.
