Last weekend I played in the Double Dawg Dare with @dmoore_dg . After 2 rounds we secured the victory and could not have worked better together. Playing this tournament reminded me a lot of @collegediscgolf and I can’t wait to get back to it in the upcoming semester!

Thank you to @starkvilledga for hosting the tournament and making sure both courses were ready for the weekend!

Thank you to @heartsoulpdg for sponsoring me this season!

Thank you to @jonathanthetwin for the photos and videos during the round!

Well done fellas! Your Mississippi State Bulldogs take down 5th at the division 1 level and 9th at the division 2 level. After a slow start for both teams, they were able to fight back and gain multiple positions throughout the tournament. A team was able to shoot the hot round at Camp Canaan with a -13, and B team jumped an impressive 31 spots to finish the tournament. We want to thank our sponsors @gripeq, @1010discs, @cfastarkville for supporting us throughout the year, and a big shoutout to @msstateurec for making this possible. Also shoutout to @collegediscgolf and @kermie123lexi for hosting an amazing event and growing the sport every year. We also want to thank our seniors @rymont12_dg @zbc_discgolf and @evan_rowland89 for helping grow the program. They will be missed!

Last week I had the opportunity to travel with @hailstate_dg and compete in College Disc Golf Nationals. A team had a great tournament and finished tied for 5th, and B team fought back to finish tied for 9th.

This year I played on B team and had a blast! Everyone on B team had a rough time starting the tournament in singles at Camp Cannan. After the first day we were tied for 40th at +14, but this did not define our tournament. In the second day we played team doubles at the Iconic Winthrop Lake and shot a -5, moving up 21 spots to tied for 19th. On day 3 we played Winthrop again and shot the hot round for the day at -9, moving us up again to tied for 11th. On our final day we came back to Camp Cannan for our last team doubles round. We played well and shot -6 moving us up to tied for 9th, securing the top 10!

Overall, I think we had a great tournament and also learned many things about each other and how we can improve next year.

To close this post, I would like to close this post, I would like to thank @collegediscgolf for hosting a great tournament and I can’t wait to try and return to nationals next year! It is also sad to see @rymont12_dg and @zbc_discgolf graduating from college disc golf, but there are greater things ahead of them in the future. We could never replace their involvement and contributions to the team, but I am hopeful for what we can do next year. We have a lot of talent within our team at Mississippi State and I can’t wait to see what the rosters will be for next year!

This last week, I got the honor of competing in my final College Disc Golf event🥏

During my freshman year at Mississippi State, I met a few guys on the MSU Disc Golf Club while playing a casual round of disc golf in Starkville. After seeing them at the course on a couple more occasions, they invited me to join the @hailstate_dg team. Joining the team was one of the best things I did in college! I am proud to call all of the great guys I have played with over the years my friends, and I have felt so appreciated and accepted by everyone on the various versions of the team over the years. I didn’t get out much in college, so having this group of guys around me was special. I love all of y’all!

@collegediscgolf has been so good to me. I have had the opportunity to represent my school at the national level for four years in a row, placing top 10 at the national championship in three of those years. During my junior year, I became a D1 All-American athlete as well as being awarded the title of Mississippi State’s Club Male Athlete of the Year. We have won many Regional level Competitions, and I have a college singles event win on my resume. It was a good journey and I’ll forever cherish the friendships and memories made on the course :) I am going to miss it a ton but will always root for and support @hailstate_dg!

Man what a week. 🐶🔔🥏

So thankful for the opportunity to compete for the College Nationals this year. I’m very happy with our result considering our first round wasn’t so great which was our singles round. Even with our bad rounds in our singles round, we battled each round to solidify a top 10 finish for the B team in Division 2 and 5th place for the A team in Division 1. I Loved the courses we played each day and hopefully we will be back for another year.

Thank you @collegediscgolf , @kermie123lexi , all the spotters, and everyone that played a part in making this College Major happen. This will be a memory I will never forget.

🥈2nd place at College Disc Golf National Championships🥈

First, I would like to thank God for this opportunity to play the game that I love. For my first year, I had a blast with the guys on the team and will miss @jake_heinze and @droccmecyrb .

Overall, B Team played really good. There were some great teams in our division that gave us some trouble going into the final round. My putts and drives looked phenomenal the entire week. Each one of my teammates also had insane highlight putts, and huge drives off the tee.

Solo round I tried my best to keep pace with Mr.Jake Heinze, but in the end he took down 1st place which arguably might be one of the hardest courses we’ve played besides Cactus Rock. In the end, I am happy to be apart of the Best Club in all of Mississippi.

2025 College Disc Golf National Championship Recap

MSU came in solo 4th place in D1 and our DII team came in solo 2nd! @jakeheinze_dg is your new DII Singles Champion! Huge congratulations to him! I can’t think of anyone more deserving👏

As for myself I feel like I played pretty good this week. My tee shots felt good and I was able to rely on my forehand more than usual. I struggled on the putting green in the 30-40ft range which stung because I had been really trying to work on that in the weeks before the event. During the first team round I got a huge throw in with my Berg, so that was probably the highlight shot of my week. I had fun and am proud of how we all played.

I love this @hailstate_dg team! I wouldn’t want to be playing disc golf anywhere else or with anyone else🐶🥏

Glory to God for giving me this opportunity to compete in a sport I love. I want to thank my parents, siblings, amazing girlfriend, and friends back home for the continued support! Thank you to @discandthat for the individual support as my sponsor and for the club support! I wouldn’t be where I am without these!
