EMPFEHLUNG

The Riven Altar von D.M. RANDALL

Dear @dmrandallauthor thank you for this masterpiece, thank you for being you, being such a sweetheart and thank you for touching my heart with your writing ❤️‍🩹 I’ll definitely try to read Book 2 and all books about to come written by you 🥹❤️

elder emo with a weakness for fictional rockstars who are a little too poetic about the universe 🖤

Day 23 for @retrosupply ‘s #FrightFall2026 was ”morgue” and while this is certainly not your everyday morgue, you do have a better chance of coming out of it alive than your average cooler box! Young Frankenstein is a hilarious movie and I had to pay homage to it in this piece. Shout out to D. M. Randall for letting me use her name for one of the jars!

Drop everything and grab a bargain! It is @dmrandallauthor birthday, and she is celebrating by dropping both her books to 0.99!

Amazon did a stupid and messed with the dates, so here is the quick breakdown of when you can grab them:

.com - both books are 0.99 today!
.co.uk - book one is 0.99 today, and book two is 0.99 tomorrow!

What to expect from these MUST READ BOOKS? Well…

The Riven Altar
Kasia is a fiercely disciplined Seattle doctor with zero time for rock star chaos. Rafe is the enigmatic frontman of an alt-rock band who is exhausted by fame and craving something real. A late night connection forces them to navigate gruelling tour schedules, public scrutiny, and grief to see if their love can survive the spotlight.
- Rock star romance
- Opposites attract
- Accidental connection
- Emotional and angsty

The Encore’s Crown
Rising influencer Natalia joins a sold out Asia tour to support her older sister. Unfortunately, that means sharing tight quarters with Kiri Chhim, the tattooed bassist who ghosted her a year ago. She is determined to make his life a living hell, but their intense attraction turns every heated argument into foreplay.
- Rockstar romance
- Forced proximity
- Age gap
- Second chance
- Perfect revenge

There is absolutely no excuse not to treat yourself! Go! Go! Go!

🎂 Birthday Extravaganza 🎉

October 23 get both released ebooks from @dmrandallauthor The Mark of Pothos series for .99 each on Amazon!

If you haven't had an opportunity to give the books a chance. Now is the perfect time to cozy up Riven Altar frontman Rafe Ashton and Dr. Kasia Sawadzka in book 1, The Riven Altar.

Then it's time to get down with Riven Altar's bassist (and my absolute personal favourite MMC) Kiri Chhim and budding influencer Natalia Sawadzka in book 2, The Encore's Crown.

Book mail!! I was so excited to get my physical copy of The Encore’s Crown 🤗🤗🤗 I have already enjoyed this masterpiece when I read it as an eARC and if you haven’t this your friendly reminder to check out both @dmrandallauthor books 🥰 You check out my review on goodreads, fable, or StoryGraph, which everyone is your cup of tea! 💜

I have a kid funny story to go along with this: So included in this was a little purple bag that held some of smaller stuff that once it was empty my 6 year old immediately claimed. Well fast forward to a few days later, I was looking every where for a set of keys we had misplaced and we had been trying to find them for a couple days at this point. After a bit my daughter ask me what I was doing and she immediately responded with I know where they are and ran upstairs. She came back down with the little bag that had the keys in them and said I didn’t want them to get lost so I put them in the bag. 🤣
