Misty Morning
Muted
Magical
Mysterious
Yet Familiar
💜
.
Been awhile since I've been around Ault Park at sunrise... Doing a favour for a friend and getting her teens to school this week. When the fog appeared this morning I knew exactly where I was headed after drop-off!!!

I love a garden that looks good in the fall. How beautiful is this?!

When I worked in the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s horticulture dept. (‘94-‘96), my favorite animal to stare at was the prehistoric-/animatronic-looking shoebill stork. What a mug!

Tuesday is my Monday this week. 😴
.
.
.As the days get shorter and colder I am increasingly aware that the Parks Workers are up even before I am, leaf-blowing, litter-retrieving, fence-repairing, garden-tending, path-clearing and the like. If you see any of them, be sure to honk & wave or say "Thanks". They work VERY hard to ensure we have such beautiful, peaceful and open places to catch our breath. 😘

A blanket of fire
Spread across the morning sky
Burning away pain
Burning down sorrow and fear
Searing in deep Joy.
