Not all Sancerre is created equal. 🇫🇷🥂

At Domaine Fournier Père et Fils, Sauvignon Blanc isn’t treated as a singular expression of place.

Winemakers Frédéric Jacquet and Damien Laurent approach Sancerre parcel by parcel – drawing on deep local experience while pushing the domaine toward an increasingly precise, terroir-focused style.

Caillottes is a perfect example. Named for the limestone-rich soils beneath the vines, it’s a Sancerre built to show exactly where it comes from.

With DMS President Alex Milligan in Texas this week, we’re taking the opportunity to dig a little deeper into the wines and people behind the portfolio.
