Happy #spidermansunday everyone!

Here's a great Spidey book
Amazing Spider-Man 570
First full appearance of Anti-Venom
2nd print variant

Using the interior pages as a wraparound cover is a great idea and art by John Romita Jr!!!!
Personally love this character and thought it was a fun concept for a symbiote!

Going with my favourite artist tag this weekend
#sienkiewiczsaturday #fftcs

Got these three issues!! Moon Knight Black White and Blood 1, Star Wars Vol.1 92 and Riddler Year One.

All these covers are done by the mesmerising Bill Sienkiewicz! A long time favourite artist of mine. His art style is just so out there and he's done so many fantastic covers that I just wanna collect them all!!! So that's what I'm doing, I've got a longbox dedicated to his cover art!

Whos your favourite artist?

Going with a different tag this weekend!
Going for #wreckedbookweekend #fftcs

I've always had a soft spot for the books that are wrecked, like bottom grades but still cool books.
I like to think I save these books and bring them to a new home where someone can appreciate the books for what they are, instead of them being left behind or ruined even further.

Hulk 104 is a great issue, early Rhino appearance and early Hulk issue. Books in very low condition but it's safe now and may make its way to the wall for display 👀

Let's see if anyone had any really low grade beauties for me!

Well I'm back for another submission for #fftcs as well as throwing out #Thorsday

Here's a book I've wanted for years! Thor volume 1 issue 126
An iconic silver age cover featuring both Thor and Hercules going at it is something that just asks to be displayed!!
Again as I continue to have chats with my LCS @aplaceinspaceuk the more I have a desire to collect these books I thought were out of reach! After a recent collection of silver age goodness came into the store, I found myself staring in awe at what I saw and just knew this was coming home with me! Excited to see more of Hercules in the MCU.
Also it's a pence variant

As for the statue of Atlas? Well he's actually linked to my fascination with Hercules! See in mythology this character had an encounter with Hercules and tried to trick him into carrying the world. But Hercules was smarter than that and Atlas remained carrying the globe. Also why I like the character of Atlas from the Thunderbolts cause of his mythology origins!!!!

Anyway history lesson over, let's hear some history from your books!!!!

Haven't done one of these in a while!
#signaturesaturday
Here's Batman 502
Signed by Mike Manley, penciller and inker on this book!

I saw this book at the LCS over the summer and saw it was an early Azrael Batman cover appearance so wanted to grab it. Only after placing it on the counter did I notice the Sig on the book.
Personally love the Knightfall run and now it's got extra personal value to me!

Let's see what ya got!!

Throwing out my submission for #firstappearancefriday

So here's a new addition to the collection: Invaders vol.1 18
First appearance of the Destroyer and Dyna-mite (later becomes Mighty Destroyer)

Always loved the invaders run, a good selection of lesser known heroes that served in ww2 is just a fun concept!!
Also love the character of the Destroyer, a really cool design and he later becomes the second Union Jack!
An all around great book to add to the PC!
Let's see what ya got this week everyone!!!

Almost forgot about #firstappearancefriday and #fftcs

Another big week this week!
This story starts as a child given marvel bedsheets and posters. I always saw the Fantastic Four books featured on then and always wanted them to be a part of my collection when I was older!
So my journey began as I collected first the issues from the bedsheets and it grew into a full blown obsession with early FF books.
So last week we had the first Appearance of Black Bolt, and as I was back at my LCS, they had just put a new Fantastic Four collection on the wall!! What a great day!
So here is another book to satisfy my hunger for these early books:

Fantastic Four 30
First appearance of Diablo
UK pence variant
Story by Stan Lee and art by Jack (the king) Kirby!

Honestly the condition of an older book has never bothered me too much, I'm not after the highest grades but a part of history that will live on in my collection and something I get to share with you all!!!
Let's see what ya got!!!

Here for a #tinheadthursday
And what better book than Avengers Vol.4 12

Iron Man wields the infinity gauntlet!!!!

A fantastic book and a bright popping cover by John Romita Jr! Honestly this book might get framed and go on the wall, it's a part of history that everyone's familiar with and it's dope as hell !!!!!!!!

Well here's my biggest book of this year!!!
Also doing #firstappearancefriday and #fftcs

Fantastic Four 46
First appearance of Black Bolt and the seeker
Second appearance of the Inhumans!
Written by Stan Lee and art by Jack Kirby!!!!! This book has everything!!!!!!

Wow...I can honestly say I wasn't expecting to find this book when at the lcs this week!
Was just looking through the back bins and happened to look up at the wall and saw a whole run of 1960s FF books. Obviously I had to grab this one and it lead to a great conversation with the owner of the store who I hadn't met till this point.
I've always been a Black Bolt fan and was disappointed at the inhumans show and the disrespect they showed my boy! Hopefully they do him proper justice in the future. The inhumans were one of the first ever books I picked up when I started collecting, starting with issue 3 of their first run, and my interest was peaked!!
Now this is a book that won't ever leave my PC and it's a huge excitement I still haven't got over yet!!!!!!
So yeah a big week for me!!
Let's see what you've got!!!
