Bass Chronicles II: Second Coming is a relentless, one-hour journey through the ever-evolving landscape of Jungle and Drum & Bass.
ISAIH wastes no time, opening deep in the jungle with timeless breakbeat pressure, featuring cuts like UK Apache & Soundman – "Junglist Girls", Donya B Bass – "Rebel", and Critycal Dub – "Jungle War"—setting a raw, authentic tone from the very first drop.

From there, the mix effortlessly glides into the uplifting melodies of Liquid DnB, with standout moments including Pola & Bryson – "Abandon", the soulful Flowrian – "Bittersweet" and BCee & FARLEY – "Makes Me Feel Alive", providing a welcome breath of emotion before the atmosphere shifts once again.

The journey then descends into the hypnotic depths of Minimal and Dark Drum & Bass, where tracks like En:vy – "Banned", Molecular - "The Funk Out" and Geostatic's "Just Wanna" create an ominous, cinematic tension that keeps you locked in.

Finally, ISAIH unleashes a devastating climax of Neurofunk and Heavy Rollers, powered by heavy hitters such as Killbox – "Ultimatum" and Benny L & DJ Crystl's "Powers". It's an explosive finale that delivers the high-impact intensity fans have come to expect.

Every transition is deliberate, every selection earns its place, and the pacing never lets up. It's unpredictable yet logical in progression, cinematic, and unapologetically heavy—a reminder that with ISAIH, the only thing you can expect... is the unexpected.

🎧 ISAIH Presents: Bass Chronicles II: Second Coming — where Jungle evolves, Drum & Bass intensifies, and the energy never drops.

Born in Johannesburg, representing the East Rand, Matterdoor is a DJ shaped by the dancefloor — where a love for music quickly turned into a deep respect and full-blown obsession with Drum & Bass.

Driven by progression, he approaches every set with intention — not just to entertain, but to create moments that stick. Energy, connection, and impact are at the core of what he brings behind the decks.

Known off-stage as Kyle, he steps into the alias Matterdoor when it’s time to deliver — channeling passion and focus into every performance.

His journey has already seen him land on lineups for @donnybascoandfriends , @dnbsanctuary , Geometric Jungle, @cherch_za , System of Synergy, @the_konklave_records , @eastbounddnb , @connexionsclub , Smoking Dragon, and Earthdance Music Festival — steadily building his presence across the scene.

For Matterdoor, this goes beyond music.

Did I ever tell you about the time I went to @dnbsanctuary at @smokingkillsbar ?

It was lit.

A much simpler time

What takes you back to your raving roots? the feeling of nostalgia? the massive outdoor events? the homies?

Guys… pinch me! 😱 If you’d told me one year ago that I’d be playing at @dnbsanctuary this weekend, I’d have laughed and said “you’re crazy.”

But here we are , after some serious grafting, nasty tunes, and leveling up my self-development game… the day is almost here. And I can’t even begin to explain how grateful and hyped I am for this opportunity. 🙌💥

Massive thanks to the team for taking a chance on Trifekta 🙂‍↕️ let’s make this Friday at @smokingkillsbar unforgettable. Who’s ready to dance? 🎶🔥

A year ago, we got to witness the insane @documentone perform at our very own @dnbsanctuary 🔥😍, a dope weekend full of all the laughs, dinners, Padal, 5km runs and FANtastic vibes on vibes 😁 and we had the honour of closing the main event 🥳

We got to top it all off with a rooftop jol and watch Document One absolutely send it as the sun went down... 🥹 Incredible memories to last a lifetime 🥹😁❤️

Super special experiencing this as part of the @dnbsanctuary crew - @tobyoneself @donnybascodj @reinerradikill @missmares_dnb and all the homies 🫶🏽❤️
