I am partial to Oxford style / traditional shoes with firm structure. First of all, they look more stylish. Second, they can help quiet down the footwork and stabilize the lower body, I think better than the softer shoes that allow for so much more bending of the feet and toes. They may not be as comfortable at first, but you can always break them in and develop the foot strength to go long periods of time with oxfords on.

Learning the swing is just as physical as doing yoga or dancing. This idea that good technique should come naturally with just a few quick tips is a fantasy. There are no shortcuts.

Most chicken wingers fail to tuck the hips under the spine throughout the release. If the hips are too far behind the chest at impact, then the body cannot elongate, and the arms cannot straighten. There we see a look when a person’s upper body chases ahead of the hips with bent arms. Instead, it’s important that we slide the hips forward, rotate them, and actively squeeze the thighs and glutes at the bottom of the swing. When combined with a backing up of the chest, the arms can throw into a straight line. This is also important for balance. Golfers who have upper body runoff tend to fall over in their finish.

Hitting the brakes helps us put the speed and rotation in the swing where it really matters- the downswing. Unless you are hitting the ball high, hitting a fade, or hitting a driver at full speed, the rest of the bag should be more abbreviated.

PSA: we overcomplicate instagram content

the best post on this account was candid. it outperformed the content i produced by 11x.

one phone photo. one honest line.

eight examples from a week of making things.
steal the format, not the exact words.

start here ↓

whats one topic you could talk about for hours?

i ask every founder and creator this, and it’s usually where their best content begins.

posting starts to feel like a second job when you’re creating content around what you think you’re supposed to say.

instead, start with what genuinely excites you. the ideas, stories, opinions, and parts of your work you could talk about all day. that’s where your strongest content pillars live.

if you’re not sure how to turn that into content that connects, I can help.

i’ll audit your social presence, identify what’s already working, find the gaps, and give you clear next steps so you can create content with more confidence and direction.

comment “AUDIT” and i’ll DM you the form.

“ i’m too old for this “

it’s not an age thing. it’s a new skill you’re learning in front of people. that’s the whole fear.

slow motion is still motion.
