One of our biggest residential lighting projects to date, a luxury home in Toorak, positioned along the Yarra River.

For a residence of this scale, lighting was never simply about illumination. It was about creating an experience.

Working across the home, Lucretia developed a tailored lighting strategy that seamlessly integrates bespoke architectural lighting, interior lighting and outdoor lighting, carefully considered to complement the architecture, landscape and way of life within the home.

From subtle integrated details to statement moments, every element was designed with intention — balancing functionality, atmosphere and architectural form.

Looking back on this project, we’re incredibly proud of the level of detail, craftsmanship and customisation that went into bringing the lighting vision to life.

A considered approach to luxury residential lighting design in Melbourne, where lighting becomes part of the architecture rather than simply an addition to it.

✨ Project Story | Toorak Residence, Melbourne

Some homes are built to be lived in. This one was built to be remembered. 🏡

Located in one of Melbourne's most prestigious suburbs, this high-end new residence was developed in close partnership between Lucretia and the architectural design team. From the earliest design stage, we were engaged to deliver bespoke decorative lighting solutions alongside a complete indoor and outdoor lighting strategy, ensuring every light in the home felt considered, cohesive, and entirely specific to the space it serves.

The centrepiece of the home is the Silken Chandelier installed in the double-height stair void. Customised to suit the exact vertical scale and ceiling height of the space, the sculptural acrylic installation enhances the sense of height while maintaining elegant, refined proportions. It is the kind of piece that stops you the moment you step inside.

When lighting is resolved from the architecture outward rather than selected from a catalogue, this is the result.

✨ Project Story | Toorak Residence, Kitchen and Entry

Every room in this home tells its own story. ✨

In the kitchen, the design centred on the island bench. The richness and character of Egyptian crystal made the Pharaoh Infinity Series the natural choice, tailored to the exact length of the island to deliver both functional illumination and a strong decorative presence that holds its own within the refined material palette of the space.

At the entry, the Couro e Cristal Duo Ring, crafted with premium Brazilian crystal, creates a refined and welcoming first impression the moment you step through the door. Its clean dual-ring composition sets the tone for the entire home before you have seen any other room.

Two spaces. Two completely different design responses. One consistent standard of quality and intention throughout.

✨ Project Story | Toorak Residence, Outdoor Lighting

Great residential lighting does not stop at the front door. 🌿

As part of our full-scope engagement on this Toorak residence, Lucretia also designed the complete outdoor lighting scheme. Working from the landscape layout, architectural facade, and circulation paths around the home, we developed a layered approach to exterior lighting that enhances both functionality and atmosphere, ensuring the residence reads as beautifully after dark as it does by day.

Path lighting, facade uplighting, and landscape accents were carefully coordinated to create a unified outdoor environment that connects the home to its grounds without breaking the visual language established inside.

From the Silken chandelier in the void to the crystal pendants in the kitchen and entry, and through every exterior luminaire across the garden and facade, this is a complete lighting environment resolved from first principles in close collaboration with the architectural team. A home presented to the market with every detail considered, including the light it lives in.

Great news to kick off the weekend!

We’re excited to share that one of our Glen Waverley projects has been nominated for the MBAV Housing Awards.

This marks our second year entering the awards and our second nomination, a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the quality, dedication and teamwork that goes into every Wolf Group project.

A big congratulations and thank you to everyone involved, from our project team and consultants @dndstudio.au through to our valued subcontractors and suppliers.

This nomination is a great recognition of the hard work, attention to detail and commitment to excellence shown throughout the project.

A beautiful, light-filled Toorak home — Solara is a luxury residential build along the Yarra River, delivered by Easton on a steep, highly constrained sloping block.

Designed as four interconnected pavilions, the home responds directly to the site, stepping with the natural fall of the land to maximise light, views and privacy.

This complex architectural build showcases Easton’s capability as a high-end builder, delivering technically demanding homes across Melbourne’s most challenging sites.

At Solara, the house is the walk 🏡
Steps come naturally.. no need to leave 😁

Or slow it down,
