Created by super imposing images and Dither Boy for retro texture. Purchased the water stock image and sat in a bathtub

Memory and dreams are heavy inspirations for my work. The ever so spotless blips of moments forgotten or remembered.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

I love this movie. I usually get the urge to just create, so I do, I play and see what I can piece together later. Sure this may not be the best way to do it, but for now it’s what I work with, and what I am capable of. Spurts of creativity.
I decided to take clips directly from the movie to represent those memories as if I were Joel.

Sometimes the dreaming is nice; other times it’s hazy and mixed with the fog and reality gets confusing

Much of my work deals with dreams and alternate realities. Most of my self portraits are eyes closed because of this. I wanted to make something and decided to literally just lay in bed.

September 11 🎂 I thought about a birthday self portrait, and realized how exhausted I am, as well as how I have been feeling a bit self conscious about my personal work. I think it’s not the best time for me to create a new piece, and i decided to just go back and tweak an old one.

There are so many things I want to execute and all I see are these roadblocks in editing techniques standing before me. I hope to learn a lot this year and be able to really show the meanings I want to convey.

Thank you for being here for another year around the sun. For me a human, and for my work. I hope to evolve alongside all the wonderful people that surround me.

At first this was just another “untitled” but I figured a caption would nice for some context form the artists perspective. Whenever I choose a song to my photos it’s very intentional. Either the lyrics, or most importantly the emotion and actual sounds. The echo-ing voice of @vot4044 has been an inspiration for a majority of my work especially the new pieces. The voice is angelic and painful and I bring music into my pieces to try and get the viewer to understand my current emotions more.

Much of my work is shot and posted the same day. I’m usually feeling extreme heavy emotions and my ritual is to express it through my photography.

Much of my work now aligns with my personal Part Work Therapy. A great deal of inner searching and talking to these parts have brought up characters inside who in turn, show up in my photography. This piece feels like the outside me, the one with a body.

This me is heavy and hollow, and the other parts have been filling in

I implore you to express the feeling this image and song give off in the comments

There’s always going to be a part of me that wishes people can look at these portraits and fully understand the depth that is actually there. Because when I create these, it comes from a place of deep turmoil and struggle, and I try to express those emotions.
