Mastering balance one step at a time! 🤸‍♂️✨

If you’re working on finding your center in a handstand, this One-Leg Assist Walk is a game changer for building control, shoulder endurance, and balance awareness.

Here is why this drill works:

Vertical Alignment: Keeping one leg extended straight up helps you lock in your vertical stack (hips over shoulders, shoulders over wrists).

Controlled Shifts: Walking the assist leg forward and backward forces your shoulders and fingers to actively micro-adjust.

Overcoming Fear: Having that safety leg near the wall/floor gives you the confidence to explore balance thresholds safely!

How to do it:👇

Kick up into a handstand with one leg straight up toward the ceiling.

Slowly lower your working/assist leg down toward the ground or wall.

Lightly tap and walk the assist leg forward and backward while holding your upper body totally stable.

Keep pressing active through your shoulders and micro-adjusting with your fingertips!

Grip the floor, stay tight, and let the assist leg teach your body how to adjust! 💪🔥

Mastering the iconic Dragon Flag isn’t built overnight—it requires raw core strength, total-body tension, and a smart progression roadmap. 🐉⚡

If you want to build iron-clad abs and core stability like Bruce Lee, stop skipping the foundation. Here is the step-by-step progression to unlock the full movement safely and effectively:

Pin Flag: Lock your hands behind an anchor point, keep your lower back glued to the pad, and lift your hips and torso as a rigid unit.

Single Leg Drops: Lower one leg at a time while keeping the rest of your body locked. This builds unilateral anti-extension strength.

Dragon Flag Circle In: Introduce rotational control by tracing circles inward with your legs at the top of the movement.

Dragon Flag Circle Out: Challenge your obliques and transverse abdominis further by reversing the rotation outward.

Dragon Flag (Regular): The ultimate test of straight-body core strength. Lower your entire body smoothly without letting your lower back arch.

Save this routine, try the progression that matches your current strength level, and watch your core transformation unfold! 💪🔥

I wasn’t even supposed to be here.

I had my mind set on HYROX being my first hybrid competition. After already paying HYROX prices 😭, DEKA wasn’t even a thought.

Until @alex.flowmotion texted me, pushing me to sign up with him so he could complete his TRIFECTA.

Man was determined to get it done and, he wasn’t doing it with anyone else 😂

His determination & willingness to get it done caught my attention.
So I thought, why not?

Fast forward to race day and somehow, we’re crossing that finish line together…

9th place. Straight off vibes. 😂

Just a little reminder to stay adaptable.

Having your sights set on one goal doesn’t mean you have to close yourself off to everything else along the way.

Sometimes, the best experiences come from the plans you never made.

Gym sessions, classes and bootcamps are great, but stepping into a competition is a different experience altogether.

One day can teach you so much about your preparation, your strengths and, more importantly, exactly what needs work before the next one.
The event might last a few hours, but the memories and lessons stick around for much longer.

Forever grateful to everyone who showed up, called, messaged and supported. Every bit of it was appreciated & noticed. ❤️

@asaala.amoudi seeing that poster alone was enough to get me to sign up 😂

@dnzlszn completing it solo AND squeezed in extra laps? Simply THAT guy 😮‍💨

@teddys_fitness gutted I didn’t get to catch you, but I saw you out there doing your thing too 🫡

You only get one shot at this life. Stop talking yourself out of opportunities before you’ve even given them a chance.

Say yes. Show up. Figure it out along the way.

This wasn’t part of the plan. But I’m glad I showed up & I couldn't have asked a better partner to share my first competition with @alex.flowmotion 💪🏽

Next up: HYROX
(Please pray for me 😭)

This year I realized the value of time and importance of action.

I made the mistake of underestimating time and action.

Only to realize how much can change when I just take action, even if I don’t know what I’m doing.

Then there were days where I was simply lazy.

Doing nothing, sitting around waiting for things to come to me.

I’m still not where I want to be, but I know how valuable time is and how powerful action is.

Inshallah, I’ll make the most of whatever is left of 2026.

And I hope you guys do to because a lot can change in 3 months.

Finding your balance upside down isn’t about luck—it’s about building proper shoulder stacked alignment, core tension, and wrist conditioning.

When you learn to control your micro-adjustments using your fingers instead of kicking wildly into the wall, the handstand stops feeling unpredictable and starts feeling effortless.

Stop guessing your way to a solid hold. DM me "HANDSTAND" to get a custom breakdown of your current form and a structured plan to master your freestanding hold.
