U60KG POWER RANKINGS · V2

V1 had four names on it. We told you positions 5 to 10 were open and we’d fill them when the results came in.

They came in.

1. Ciaran Knight — Halewood. National champion. Beat the No.1 seed 4-0, then took the final 4-1.

2. Kusshi Singh — Aston. National finalist. Beat Groves 5-0. Beat Searle 4-1.

3. Haris Zaman — Middlesbrough. Went in seeded No.1 and hasn’t stopped saying he’s coming back for it.

4. Oliver Groves — Torbay. National semi-finalist.

5. Khurram Ali-Shan — The Ring. National quarter-finalist.

6. Martin Ward — Legend. Haringey Group B winner.

7. Hugo Searle — Inner City. Took the finalist to 4-1.

8. Dylan Gray — District Youth. Haringey Group C winner — and he beat a reigning national champion to get it.

9. Taye Joseph — Jennings. National quarter-finalist.

10. Mustapha Mbye — Telford. Community pick. Riviera, Guerilla and Global Glove last season. Three box cup titles in a year, and the only thing keeping him at ten is that Ward beat him in the Haringey final.

Now the part that changes everything.

Two national medallists are entering this division. Yasin Saddiq, 2026 champion at 55–57.5kg, is campaigning at 60. Joe Peel, national finalist at 62.5kg and England Performance Squad, is dropping to 60.

One coming up. One coming down.

In contention for V3: Connor Edwards (West Ham), Lewis Harvey (British Army Boxing), Lemar Topper (Islington).

Every line on this board traces to a bracket, bout sheet or community pick. Not reputation. Not follower counts. Not who shouts loudest.

So tell us where we’ve got it wrong. Comment the change you’d make and the result it’s built on. Last time, one lad came with two box cup wins and a national quarter-final — and he moved secured his ranking. The ones with evidence behind them are the ones that shift.

V3 lands when the results do.

We publicly ranked a division nobody had ranked before.

Then the division showed up.

The NAC champion’s own gym, backing their man @c_knight2025. @hariszaman_ , ranked third, making it clear he isn’t planning on staying there. Coaches putting their own fighters forward. @tayej187 , in the running for 5 to 10, turning up himself. And one name that three different people tagged, unprompted, without us ever mentioning him @doatheboxer

Then the weight class took shape in front of us.

@yasin_hassanarafat_saddiq — 2026 national champion at 55–57.5kg — is campaigning at 60 now.

Joe Peel — national finalist at 60–62.5kg, England Performance Squad — is dropping to 60.

Jack Dryden has turned professional, so he comes off the amateur board.

One coming up. One coming down. One gone. All of it surfaced in a comment section.

Then somebody did it properly. Not “I should be higher” — two elite box cup wins and a national quarter-final. An actual case, with results behind it. That moved him into the top six @ksboxinggg

Someone else came with a raised eyebrow and nothing attached. Same answer everyone gets: drop your season’s results and we’ll review it for V2.

That’s the whole thing. We don’t rank reputations. We don’t rank follower counts. We don’t rank whoever shouts loudest. Every name on a BoutMatch board traces back to a bracket, bout sheet or community nomination — and if we’ve got one wrong, show us the result and it changes, publicly, with the correction credited.

Positions 5 to 10 are still open.

V2 lands when the results do.
