PART 2 — “THIS GIRL IS NOT NORMAL”
Happy birthday Dobis Sparkles

Now let’s talk about this your “condition” 😂

My friend has “bipolar" and yes — I did the diagnosis myself 😌🤣😂

She can say:
👉🏽 “Sally please help me style Zina’s hair for church”
Next minute:
👉🏽 “Why is the hair too fine?? It’s just church hair!!”
😂😂😂

And she really begins a fight because something is TOO GOOD for just Church🤦🏽‍♀️

Maybe that’s why your name is Adaobi 🤣🤣
A whole combination of Ada (female) and Obi (male) in one person 😭
Two personalities… one body… God abeg 🤣

Driving with Adaobi 🚗💀

If Adaobi is the driver…
please just say your last prayer before entering the car 🙏🏽

And if she says:
👉🏽 “Drive behind me, I know the way”
My dear… in 1 minute, you won't even see her brake lights 😭

AND ANOTHER THING 😭

This is the ONE person…
I hate telling that I want to lose weight 😭 because
she will just look me from head to toe like and say
👉🏽 “Sally… don’t even start.”

(Part 3 is where I cry small… don’t miss it 🥹❤️)

Slide 1: In her mind, she is a model...but I know I know the truth

Slide 2: That one friend that can make you travel miles to make hair.

PART 1 — “30 YEARS OF WAHALA”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY VERY OWN ADAOBI 🎉❤️

This year marks 30 years of friendship o!

Everybody will say “awwwnnnn 🥹”…
but can they handle the “ooooohhhhh 😩” and frustrations that come with it??

Because this friendship…
📖 the book get plenty pages o, no be only cover.
But na the cover everybody dey admire.

Truth is —
Sally + Adaobi = full package
To make it work… you need patience, grace, and
a sprinkle of double dosed trouble🤣

Mrs Generous herself 💃🏽

I LOVE going to her house because one thing is sure:
I must carry something home 😭

She will just say: “Sally, look around and take anything you want.”

Cooked food ✔️
Foodstuff ✔️
Raw food ✔️

Sometimes she will even go to work and trust that I will not uproot the building 🤣

She pays for children’s activities too most times we visit wwhich is our usual battle ground because:

⏰ I NEVER keep to time
😤 and she HATES

So she will nag… complain… quarrel…
we will fight small… she will keep temporary beef😂🤣😂…

When my dad died, she was the first person to support me with money immediately she heard .

She's one person that always send me “palliative” because her girl is 'perpetually' broke 😭

I will buy something from her and she’ll say: “Sally, don’t pay me.”

She has even said before that she wishes she could just dash me all the money I need so life will be fair 😭❤️

Ahhh… I love her for this one.

( Part 2 coming)

Where to? Where else if not to visit my friend, Adaobi 😂🤣😂
#throwback #2yearsago

BTW, since Saturday my dad was buried, yesterday was the first time I cooked. All thanks to Adaobi who supplied all my meals - moi moi, fisherman soup, unripe plantain porridge, banga stew, fish sauce, Abacha and some takeaway meals from her and hubby too🥰🥰🥰
If you do not have atleast one Ada friend, sorry o😂🤣😂

Finally posting because good vibes are timeless 😉

Throwback to my first, and maybe only, RCGP conference🤷🏽‍♀️, cos you never know where life might take this nomad.
it was a truly enriching experience. I had the opportunity to learn about new medical innovations, expand my knowledge, and most importantly, connect with like-minded individuals. It was also a chance to catch up with colleagues and friends I hadn’t seen in ages, or had only kept in touch with briefly, while also meeting new friends and learning from them.

Of course, no doctor’s conference is complete without freebies, and I certainly collected my fair share! I really enjoyed many of the sessions and want to give a big shout-out to those who bravely shared their personal stories, as well as the organisers, you all did a fantastic job.

My only critique? The food. Just a heads-up, that definitely wasn’t Jollof, But there’s def room for improvement next time!
PS.. Special shout out to @adaora_n phone and also her photography skills… All pics @AdaShotiT.. 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Day 2 of the Annual RCGP Conference was packed with insightful seminars and short courses, making it an intense yet rewarding experience. But what truly made the day special was finally getting to meet some of my amazing colleagues in person, after years of connecting online. It was a great reminder of the power of real-life connections in our digital world. I was really Excited for what the rest of the conference had in store!

I had an incredible experience at the #RCGPAC. It was truly rewarding to meet friends from the HealthThenmore community who have been so supportive, and to reconnect with new colleagues and old friends I hadn’t seen in over 12 years. The discussions around the future of primary care and innovative approaches to patient care were truly inspiring. I’m grateful for the valuable insights gained and excited to bring them back to my practice. 💡👩‍⚕️ #RCGPannualconference2024 #PrimaryCare #LifelongLearning #HealthcareInnovation #RCGPAC24#NDUK#NigerianDoctor
