I’ve been trying to do the thing where I will my life into goodness after letting it get the best of me for a while.

@jessevelynphoto was looking for couples to photograph in North Georgia and I thought, why not? Let me go for it. And she picked us for a shoot.

We made a (much needed) weekend out of it and reconnected after our busy and stressful year.

As you know, we eloped on a random Wednesday after 52 days, so we never got engagement photos. These do more than fill that void. Thank you, Jess!

I don’t need a house, Will is my home.

And when your friends tell you to open yourself to the good in the world, invite it in.
