1st Half Ironman 70.3 Tremblant 2026 Recap

1.9km swim and didnt drown.
90km bike with no flats.
21.1km run with legs still working.

On race day, I woke up with a minor gout flare up and was asking myself, "Why tf on race day of all days?"

The goal was just to finish instead of chasing a goal time. Luckily, 2 naproxens and 3 colchicine pills later, by the time the run came, I was able to full send it for a PB.

I am so grateful for all the folks I've met along this tri journey and thank all my training partners for not dropping me too hard during the group rides. Without you all, I do not think I could have gotten through this training block alone.

Thank you @imbenster and @zebbby for making the trek to support us on race day.

Special shoutout to @a2thej_ for being the best mentor and sharing so much wisdom about triathalons. If I had never met you, I would have never signed up. 🙏

Feeling great after racing Tremblant 70.3 last weekend 🙌

Shaved off 8 minutes from my previous time last year so things are moving in the right direction ✅️

Blessed to also receive my Ironman All world Athlete Gold Status for 2026 ✨️

Was an honour and privilege to have trained and raced with a determined, like-minded, and hungry group of athletes. Congrats to those in particular who raced their first 70.3 and crushed it 👏

Triathlon is pretty much an individual sport but when you get to share these moments and experiences with others it makes it more memorable and fun 💯

Looking forward to Lake Placid Ironman next month 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♂️💨
