Arriving in NYC, someone on the plane asked me what brought me to NY. “Peloton!”, I said. And the follow up question was “you came to just ride a bike?!” So to those who think Peloton is just a bike let me tell you why I went 🙃

I went to Peloton because I made a goal for myself to hit 1,000 yoga classes in studio with my friend, @la_tiamariana for my 40th birthday present to myself. I did that, but I also got hugs from one of my favorite people in the earth, one of the most genuine people I have ever met. Mariana, you are the light I needed this weekend. I love you, amiga. Not only did I get to flow with you, but I got to run with you. I told you I would be slow but happy to be there, and I was both.

I went to Peloton, because I wanted to celebrate #hispanicheritagemonth with the instructors who help us celebrate our heritage every month. @radichell, I told you that you were the last of the three of you that I finally got into class with. You were certainly not least. I had a blast while you kicked my 🍑 and appreciate the coaching more than you know.

I went to Peloton to dance on the bike with @camilaramonnn because every time I’m in her studio is a damn party. Even though I was tired, I couldn’t help pull the adrenaline and ride just so I could get a hug at the end of class!

And lastly and maybe most importantly, I went to Peloton to be with my people. From randomly running into my friend, @mama_hustler3x_ and making so many more, all the hugs and high fives filled my heart.

So you see, Peloton isn’t just a bike, it’s a family. Hasta la proxima!
