This is an extra special Birthday Bruce not just for you but for everyone that holds you close to their heart!! 52 days ago we almost lost you FOREVER and I am so glad you are here and that you are the strongest and most fearless person I know! You surprise me everyday with how quickly you are healing and how much stronger you are every single day. These last several weeks have been the biggest roller coaster 🎢 and the biggest wave of emotions we have ever been on in our lives. I know it's not going to be easy. I know there is a lot of hard work that needs to be put in. @doddbeef But I think as a team we can get you back stronger and stronger💪
@rdodd260 and @breannedodd Thank you for the emotional support, the videos of the kids, the birthday gifts and especially the hugs and constant positive uplifting and loving energy. To my family that has been my sounding board, my distraction, my laughter!

What is a champion?
My dad is raising the bar. . .

- the harder it gets, the less you complain.
- unwavering belief no matter what happens or how dark or painful or terrifying it gets.
- find good company or brighten another persons day no matter how dark it gets for you. Companionship elevates all.
- no fluffy nonsense needed.
- zero blame, 100% accountability, absolute ownership of circumstance.
- never look back for any other reason than to learn. And only look back once . Go forward and take action fast and decisively.
- lean on your team, but still be the leader.
- fight and see the light no matter how dark it gets
- you can be hard and soft all at once. Feeling life and expressing emotion is healthy and deepens connection.
- no matter what, you can’t run from your pain. It will find you ☠️
- the contrast of rainbows 🌈 and sunshine ☀️ with darkness is horrifying, but part of existence. It all makes us feel truly alive .

Ryan Dodd (CAN) wins Open Men’s Jump Finals for the 5th time at the 2023 IWWF World Waterski Championships at Sunset Lakes in Lake County Florida, with a stunning 69.9 metre (229 feet) jump! Freddy Krueger (USA) wins silver with 69 metre (226 feet), and Taylor Garcia (USA) wins bronze with a 67.9 metre (223 feet) jump.

The event is exclusively towed by the World-record setting Ski Nautique and Masterline is the Official Tow Rope of the event.

The first medals of the 2023 IWWF 35+ Pan Am Water Ski Championships were awarded today! Canada won 10 medals in the Slalom and Trick finals! 🥇🥈🥉
