#DenisovaPercussion WINNER ANNOUNCEMENTS. I don't need to tell you again how impressed I am. Curse you all for making this decision so difficult. 1st place @torubeat Winner of a premium @deafboyusa sample pack, and an unreleased percussion pack. I loved the arrangement, the ambitious vibe, and how well mixed the whole production was. You complimented the percussion sample in just the right way. This is not something we counted too much as it was not announced. But his video is entertaining on many different levels. The music is most important but making your visuals stand out will give you an edge on social media in general. Take notes from guys like him. 2nd place @anchellebeats Winner of a $37 gift card from @sweetwatersound The first thing I fell I love with was the chord progression. Then the choice of kick drum, then the mix. Overall a superb soundscape, and also complimented the sample greatly. 3rd @keedyweedybeats This motherfucker has already won everything we can offer, due to his ridiculously nature. But we had to name him one of the winners, because he always brings his a-game and spreads love to everybody else. His production was cinematic and grandiose, and ofc, really complimented the sample. #DenisovaPercussion Challenge is a wrap! This is too much fun. What a way to take advantage of a situation, where most of us aren't allowed to meet our friends and family and have to stay home, and turn it into a shared creative experience. With people from all over the world. This has been our biggest challenge so far, with the most sign-ups and participants. Like I've already expressed several times, the level of talent and variety has been more than I could ever expect. Our community offers boom bap, lofi beats, jazz, club bangers, house, psychedelic rock, with and without vocals. And the quality is astonishing. Some have been asking where I got the big drum from. Unfortunately I can't tell you. A friend of mine gave it to me many years ago cause he thought I'd use it for something good. He was right. I haven't used it at all until I decided to figure out a way to make it sound good for this challenge. Then you guys show up and make Sova so happy💕 The absolute best thing about our challenges is the community feel we've created. And when I say "we" I mean everybody who has a part in it. Even if you've just shared or commented on one of the entries, you've helped make this a stronger community. I LOVE hearing what you awesome people come up with, and love just as much seeing participants and previous participants commenting on each other's entries. Making connections and friends. I get no whining or selfishness, just support and good vibes. I fricken love you. We're gonna keep doing these challenges for as long as we can. Gigantic thanks to Stephen. The man behind the @deafboyusa brand. He's sticking to a model of being helpful and transparent about the way we do our business. And creating a great platform for distributing all source material.
