If your week is built around discovering local sounds, your plans are officially sorted. As always, ticket links are in bio. 1. @thornbackmusic launches her new single 'Blur' at @bergybandroom. Sonically laid-back yet emotionally visceral, Thornback brings the third single off her highly anticipated debut album to Brunswick. Drawing on influences from Radiohead to Hayley Williams, her stories navigate the complexities of identity and mental health with a performance that feels as dark as it is beautifully vulnerable. Support by @diopsideband and @punch_bowlband on June 18th. 2. @blancotranco return to Collingwood with a gig upstairs at @thetotehotel. Following a seven-month stage hiatus and the release of their stunning debut album 'The Imagined Life', the four-piece bring their signature blend of introspective dream-pop haze and driving post-punk rhythms back upstairs at The Tote. Supported by @maxinegillon and @jms.harrison on June 27th. 3. @ullahlikesyou heads to @northcotesocialclub for her second headline show in Naarm, celebrating her recent move from Boorloo/Perth. With a voice that seamlessly pairs fragile honesty with distinct power, her delicate lyricism explores growing pains, solitude, and tender truths to celebrate her debut EP. Joined by the very lovely @daisypickerband and @dog_door_ on June 20th.
