Safe! We were able to pull Pierre from the shelter and now he’s safe with One Love.⁣⁣
A special Thank You to our friend, Heather, with Dog Park Studio who allowed us to come in for grooming after we picked him up. Pierre has been sick with a cough and the cold concrete floor of the shelter was no place for him. We got to him just in time! His fur was so badly matted. ⁣We could not find 2 of his feet under all the mats that were almost 1 inch thick and weighed about 4lbs in fur alone. His nails were over 1 inch long. After his groom, he feels much better and we will put some weight on this sweetheart who currently only weighs 35lbs as a Standard Poodle.
Pierre will be traveling to our rescue partners @atlantahumane when he’s ready to be adopted but for now we are getting him cleaned up and healthy. ⁣⁣
⁣Heather always answers our call to help dogs in need. If you’re looking for a kind, talented groomer, look no further than @dog_park_studio mobile grooming! ⁣⁣
