I have always found solace here, this is a place for you if you are into books, coffee and conversation on both.

My favourite place so far.

Are you a fan of reading books and coffee? Are you someone who would like a cozy couch, a corner facing the water with a beverage and a thriller to get lost into? @dogearedcafe in Paris, Ontario would be the perfect place to go. Paris is a beautiful town around an hour away from Toronto, with tons of options for everyone from kayaking, hiking, shopping to cafe hopping. The cafe itself has an amazing collection of pre-loved books for a bargain, some even for a dollar. The seating has vintage couches facing the quirky painted bookshelfs and the coffee is pretty good too. I tried the mocha latte and it went great with the windy weather. Head over to Paris this week and don't miss going to the Dog-Eared cafe.
Fun fact: In Paris, Ontario, Alexander Graham Bell received the world's first successful long distance telephone call from Brantford, in Robert White's Boot and Shoe store and Telegraph office on August 10, 1876.
