Huskies aren’t stubborn… they were bred to be independent thinkers and make decisions without constant interactions from their handler. Instead of repeating commands over and over, make yourself more valuable than the environment. Keep training sessions short, reward engagement, and build motivation before asking for obedience. Remember: If your Husky ignores you, it’s not because it doesn’t understand you… it’s because it has other plans. #nordikk9 #dogtraining #dogtrainer #husky #huskyworld

When dealing with a behavioral issue in dog training, many people jump straight into raining, but that’s often a mistake. “Leash reactivity” is a label, not a cause. Fear, frustration, barrier frustration, and even pain can all look the same on the surface. In this clip, Evan Doggett explains why ruling out health issues is a critical first step before any behavior modification plan. #dogtrainingtips #dogbehavior #leashreactivity #caninehealth #balanceddogtraining

❄️ Snow is an invitation to slow down. Embrace the opportunity to opt-outside. ☀️ Dr. Catherine Clinton of Quantum Biology Health Institute writes, “Recent research from Stockholm University found that the light reflected off snow increases alertness during the day while improving mood and sleep. Researchers followed participants over three months- December, January and February. They found that the light reflected off snow has a powerful influence on our biology.” ❄️Everyone loves winter as a child. You learn the art of disliking it as you grow up. 🌨️ Ever noticed this on a snowy day? The grown-ups are all going about complaining… But look at the children — and the dogs? They know what snow’s made for! ♥️☃️🐾 🥾Opt-outside this winter. 💔 PS: I wish I could say we kept up with his recall training when he was a pup, but we didn't... so it became very challenging to go hiking with him! 📣 I wanted the confidence to let our dogs off-leash while still knowing I can call them back with certainty. No yelling. No panicking. Just trust. 🐾 I'm so glad I met Evan at Dogette Training (and his courses) here on Instagram to help us get there! 🐕‍🦺 This is the universe telling you that it's not too late to still train your dog to 100% recall. 🐕 If you're struggling and you want positively-reinforced training courses checkout @doggett.style ... we're so thankful to be able to safely adventure with this cutie again!

We’ve all been there, tired, eating junk, and feeling off. 💤 When you’re not healthy, you don’t learn well or act your best. In this clip, Evan Doggett explains how the same thing happens with dogs. For years, he focused only on obedience and behavior work… until he realized that without addressing a dog’s health, progress hits a wall. 🎥 Watch the full interview with Evan Doggett on my YouTube channel and podcast to hear how he integrates health, mindset, and training into one complete system. 🔗 Links in bio and first comment. 🐾 Shy, aloof, or unsociable in appearance with hints of an underlying wildness or untamed intensity — does this describe you and your dog, too?!? 🧬 Etymology: • From French farouche, meaning “shy” or “sullen.” • Originally from Latin forasticus, meaning “living outside” or “wild,” from foras - “outside.” 🥾 I admit, when I’m out hiking solo or playing at the local park during offleash hours, I’m a bit anti-social. I don’t want to deal with the uncertainty of interactions with other dogs. 📣 I want the confidence to let our dogs run off leash while still knowing I can call them back with certainty. No yelling. No panicking. Just trust. ❌✅ Can your dog do that? My cute wild boys could not. 🎯 Adding ecollars to our training has changed everything. We found @doggett.style by happy accident here on Instagram, and his Off-Leash Freedom Formula course has been the perfect fit for our adventurous, travel-loving crew. 😛 Evan’s love & logic approach, paired with humor (yep, he tests an ecollar on himself, on his tongue) makes training playful and fun. 🌲 Our dogs love putting on their ecollars, because they know it means an outdoor adventure (like this!). I love putting it on because it’s like a virtual leash that gives them freedom while keeping our connection strong. 🏕️☀️🐾 If your summer plans include paws on the trail and your farouche best friend by your side, follow @doggett.style to come train with us. Stay tuned for more travel adventures and puppy updates! 🖋️Farouche in a sentence: She was farouche, avoiding crowds and small talk, yet her presence with her dogs displayed a kind of wild unfiltered love and obsession. ♥️🦮🐕‍🦺 We plan our adventures around where the dogs can go. Trails, beaches, cabins, road trips — if they can come, we’re in! Traveling with dogs makes everything better! 📍🗺️ 🥾 Follow @unbusytravel for more slow travel tips, bucket list experiences, scenic hikes, easy road trips, hidden gems and unique stays in the Midwest.

This shoot looks a little different than what I usually share, but that’s kind of the point. We did a studio session for an incredible dog trainer, @doggett.style , whose brand is bold and full of personality… just like him. 💃 Evan’s dogs are incredibly well trained and so so sweet, and he made the whole shoot easy (and honestly, really fun). He’s knowledgeable, confident, and not afraid to be a little goofy, which made for some great moments (and makes training with him so enjoyable!) The full gallery isn’t ready yet, but I couldn’t wait to share a few. If your brand doesn’t look like what you’ve seen on my feed, that’s okay, it shouldn’t. Every business has its own vibe, and I’ll work with you to create images that match yours! 📩 Want photos that feel like you? Send me a DM with the word “brand” and let’s chat. Why we’re team eCollar 💛 (aka walkie-talkie collars): Some dogs fetch sticks. Ours chase foxes. 🦊 And squirrels. And the occasional beach wave. 🌊 🐾📡 With their Educator Collars (and love-focused Doggett Style training), our dog can hear us even when wind is howling, waves are crashing, or squirrel brain has taken over. 🗺️🥾📍We plan our adventures around where the dogs can go. Trails, beaches, cabins, road trips — if they can come, we’re in. Traveling with dogs makes everything better. ⚠️ But when they’re off-leash having fun, safety is a real concern. Especially when our jumpy Goldendoodle sees a stranger to greet or our Giant Schnauzer spots a squirrel (or bear cub) to chase. 🎯 We found @doggett.style by happy accident here on Instagram, and his Off-Leash Freedom Formula course has been the perfect fit for our adventurous, zoomie-loving crew. Evan’s love & logic approach, paired with humor (yep, he tests the collar on himself, on his tongue 😛) makes training playful and fun. The self-guided course is designed to give you the confidence to let your dogs run while still knowing you can call them back. No yelling. No panicking. Just trust. 🦊 When our pup tore off after a fox, it only took a few gentle pokes from the eCollar (picture a little brother in the car being like, “hey… hey… hey…”) until suddenly that “what?!?” look hit his face. That moment when he turned, heard “Come,” and sprinted toward us made every second of training worth it. 🥹🐕 🐾 Our dogs love putting on their @ecollartechnologies walkie-talkie collars, because they know it means an adventure. I love putting it on because it feels like a virtual leash that gives them freedom while keeping our connection strong. 🧡 Because at the end of the day, this course is about more than just training. It’s about the moments it makes possible… Thank you for being my reason to get outside. For making ordinary days memorable. And for always coming back when I call. Oh how we love our pups. 💕 🏕️☀️🐕‍🦺 If your summer dreams include paws on the trail and your best friend by your side, follow @doggett.style to come train with us. Stay tuned for travel adventures and training updates! #offleashtraining

Clips from when I was 3 months old! Where do I get my freedom? Well it all started when I was a few months old and my mommy was concerned with me chewing every baseboard because I was having teeth problems….and little did my mom know how fun I could have once trained to be off leash - doing what I do best, to use my energy, so I didn’t have to chew the baseboards anymore. Forever grateful for online and in person classes with @doggett.style training and @ecollartechnologies, @muckymuttsshop long lead leashes, and @crumpsnaturals beef liver mini. 95% of the time now I come back with just moms voice but it’s nice to have a back up vibration when I can’t hear her over the big beach waves! I love being an off leash beagle with recall ☀️🌊❤️ (check out Evan Doggett’s page for all the info on ECollars including debunking myths and spitting out facts and real client testimonies)

Group classes lately 👌🏻🐾 Would you believe that every, single dog in these videos has previously struggled with reactivity, aggression, no recall, or just poor obedience and life skills? What changed? All of these people have taken a step to make necessary changes with their dogs by participating in training programs that have clear boundaries, guidance and ongoing support to help achieve the goals they had! Many of these dogs couldn’t even walk down a street with another dog, let alone participate in a group class with close proximity. We love coaching you and your dogs! We start either private lessons or board and train programs before you get to group classes so it’s not overwhelming for anyone :) First step? Send me a DM or go to my website and book a FREE phone consultation to discuss your goals and what program suits you best. #dogtraining #reactivity #aggression #leashtraining #community
