first off, i want to thank the people who made this album possible. thank you @whoisjoeyjupiter and @dogthetrick for the incredible features two brilliant artists with so much to say. thank you @dogthetrick as well for producing “Child Eyes” truly the goat. thank you @sugarcherrysweet for the mix on “Lighthouse.” thank you to my homie @elijahh03 for talking to me on "Maybe They're All Growing At Their Own Pace" one of the most introspective people i've met. and thank you @imgxneo_n and @bloyalmusic for helping me bring the visuals to life, incredible videographers and two of my closet friends.

lastly, thank you to my friends, and everyone who supported me through this process. it means the world to me i wouldn’t be here without you. :)

this project has been my entire life since 2023. i started making this album during a very low point. i had just started therapy and was finally trying to heal from things i spent years pushing down. at 18 i didn’t realize that the things i ignored would come back in ways i couldn’t imagine.

i self-titled this album to document my process of grief, love, understanding, and acceptance but i realized it wasn’t just about me. it was also about the loss of my sisters when i was young. i won’t talk about this publicly very often, but as much as this project is about my healing, it’s also a place to honor and lay to rest their memories.

i can’t count how many times while writing these songs i wanted to be with them again. i love you Adrianna and Hailey i’ll keep you with me until the day i’m no longer breathing. i’m not religious, but i hope i get to hug you again someday. this life is unfair and it did not deserve you. 🫶🏻

i’m also inspired by anyone who’s ever been told they don’t matter because of who they are. we can’t control who we are, who we love, or where we come from only how we treat people. love wins every time.

thank you for reading. i think this album is dope, so go fuck with it. :)
– SKY

p.s. the mix is a little all over the place don't cook me too hard, next project i know what im doing

folk punk show over at @uuclv !!! I would kill to relive this night honestly. Getting to meet Pigeon and Moth from Sister Wife Sex Strike almost killed me I think! Shoutout to folk punk itself, @vegas_critter_collective for putting this together, all the bands and artists I tagged on this post, and everyone who makes shows like these worth it!

Go out and attend a local show if you haven't already, losers. ;]

🏝️ days blend to one

super late bday post but just wanted to say thanks to everyone who made it possible. my friends spending endless hours listening and learning songs by ear just to indulge my silly dreams. the people who let me use their home, the ones who helped with decorations or brought food and drinks. people who lent me their talent and performed, even when it was 15 minutes before the set. it would not have even happened without everyone just showing up.

when i was little i remember listening to franz ferdinand and daydreaming i would perform on stage. for that one night i felt i was actually doing what i love and it mattered more than anyone could know. so thank you for supporting my silly little dreams and making me feel like i could be a rockstar for one night. i look forward to more shitty cover concerts to come :)
