POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

next up we have @dogvioletband joining us as part of their tour celebrating the release of their ep wilting!

Dogviolet fuse post-punk grit, gothic atmosphere and folk-tinged melody into something intriguing and hard to look away from. Inspired by the natural world, botanical imagery is woven through their lyrics exploring social injustice, familial challenges and sapphic desire, set against dark sonic hues that feel both polished and raw.

REVOLT Presents: Dogviolet

@dogvioletband fuse post‑punk grit, gothic atmosphere and folk‑tinged melody, creating a concoction that holds listeners in their spell. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, botanical imagery is woven through their emotionally honest lyrics exploring themes of social injustice, familial challenges and sapphic desire. The genre-bending 4-piece delicately balance power and vulnerability through striking vocals, emotive melodies, haunting harmonies and atmospheric guitar lines.
Founders Naz Toorabally and Ella Patenall met in their Year 10 English class, beginning a creative partnership now over fifteen years deep. They were later joined by Lauren Allpress (drums) and Margot Cintract (bass). Together, they are carving out their own space in London’s post-punk scene.
Invited to support Heartworms at Village Underground, The Wedding Present at O2 Institute Birmingham, and L.A. Witch and Whitelands at MOTH Club, Dogviolet are building serious momentum. Their debut EP, Wilting, has also received support from Radio X’s John Kennedy, DORK, Notion and Louder Than War.

FFO: The Cranberries, The Cure, Warpaint, Interpol

@dogvioletband will be joined by the incredible @wearehighdrive and @hawxxmusic at @daltonsbrighton next Wednesday 14th October. Doors from 7:30 PM. Tickets are selling fast. Do not miss this one!!

All proceeds go to @medicalaidpal 🍉
