I became a member at Club Passim the other night after seeing a wonderful show by K.C. Jones! Now, more than ever, it’s so important to support artists everywhere - and especially the independent, non-profit arts venues. Wendy and I also had the good fortune of attending with John Doherty. If you know him, then you know he is probably at one or two live shows EVERY NIGHT in Boston. A true music enthusiast and super supporter of the local scene. (If you’ve seen our film, BEAUTIFUL WAS THE FIGHT, John appears in the audience in several scenes!!) Props to the entire staff at Passim for doing an excellent job! Please consider supporting them. If you do, here’s how others will benefit:
+present a diverse group of artists to an engaging audience
+provide artist development opportunities through their grant programs
+examine what folk music means and how we can create a more inclusive space for all through their Folk Collective
+present free, outdoor music events in Cambridge
+help guarantee the health and longevity of a legendary institution (Joan Baez, Shawn Colvin, Bob Dylan, Tom Rush, Joni Mitchell, Suzanne Vega, Muddy Waters, Jimmy Buffett, John Mayer, and many more) @clubpassim @k.c.jones__ @w.tweedale @doherty424

The sweetest, most tender moment between friends 🖤 Giz and @doherty424 have a decade of friendship, and in more years than that, I have never seen Doherty get on the ground ANYWHERE that wasn’t a beach or pool, for ANYONE. The power of our connection to animals is immense and special 💕 #buds #love #mydudes #bonded #familiars #doginabar #toadinahole
Big thanks to @themidwaycafejp and @lennylashley for always welcoming us with love and kindness 🖤
