🇪🇸 La ebonita no envejece como los plásticos. Evoluciona. La magia de la Ebonita 🙂 EN 🇬🇧 Ebonite does not age like plastic. It evolves. This pen was once black. Now it is browner. It is not damaged — it is revealing its nature. Ebonite is natural rubber vulcanized with sulfur, a material developed in the 19th century and historically used in scientific instruments and fountain pens. Unlike modern resins, it is not chemically inert. When exposed to oxygen and especially to ultraviolet light, ebonite undergoes surface oxidation. This alters the molecular structure of the outer layer, producing visible color changes over time. Under direct light — artificial or solar — the pen changes color in real time. Not a flaw. A feature. The magic of Ebonite. 🙂 #ebonite #fountainpen #nahvalur #nahvalurnautilus
