POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

; for a limited time only (I mean, what isn’t?) — these cassettes will be available, starting this Sunday @drones_in_the_garden 🎶 featuring many magical minds all hovering / revolving around @revolveavl ⚡️🌀

If any of you have been with me on this kiss this kiss this journey of #diy “ness” for more than a few years, then you are probably familiar with these two works. It’s quite alright if you are not!

One came out in 2015 and then other in 2017. It was a tale of two cities all over again. Columbia & Charleston, SC. Soda City & Cheesetown…

#anyway

I’m still very grateful for the contributions to the visual component of the digital releases by Savannah Taylor (‘Productive Leisure’) and Steffi Brink (‘FRWRD’) — just a couple of baddasses…

I felt like putting this (otherwise purely digital) audio into the physical dimension again. You can touch them! Again! A gain. A loss? Alas.

Be well. Take care. Stay cozy. See you soon. 💜🧡

What are you doing Saturday 30-09-2023 at 6:30pm? If you don't fear venturing into the dark, sad and funny corners of the psyche and move your body to the mean beat of corporate incantantions perhaps you'll join me at @an.other.world.project.space as I attempt to perform this re-arranged and re-imagined version of Netherworld for the first time in its entirety. Catch it now before I start touring Australia or something. I might have to adapt some words... what's huurtoeslag down under?

RSVP here or at valvella@gmail.com because space is limited. If there are a lot of people who want to come I might just perform a shorter version twice or do it again in my living room the following week so don't be shy. I'm developing the live component of this work so it's nice to have some support and feedback.

Supported by @cbkrotterdam
Mede mogelijk gemaakt met een financiële bijdrage van @cbkrotterdam

The initial phase of this project was supported by a @droomendaad grant during lockdown

poster by my dear friend @drummerjenx who is also an amazing musician and knew me when I was a lost person wandering around South Carolina, New York and Chicago
