Went to the weeb convention this weekend. I think I’m done with conventions overall. But shoutout to all the homies that make it fun.

Pictures at Anime NYC 2024 Part 3. By the way, I saw @maxmittelman at the convention. While I didn’t get an autograph, I did get a picture with him and it’s awesome #cosplay #animecosplay #lovelivecosplay #anime #animeconvention #animenyc #animenyc2024 #nyc

Nearly didn’t post about #katsucon2024 I had so much fun! I met some awesome and amazing people! Ate some great food, got some cute stuff,, got to wear my blue lipstick and ride a Ferris wheel! This was so needed I was feeling beat down a lot because of my job so I’m glad I got a chance to relax and have some fun! Thanks everyone! Can’t wait for next time! ❤️❤️❤️

Danmei Meetup @ AnimeNYC
°•●°•.°.•°•
This past weekend, I attended the Danmei meetup at AnimeNYC hosted by @likeice127 and @dokuhan !
It was such a great turnout with some amazing cosplayers! I'm challenging myself next time to be a bit more outgoing so I can chat with more of you. Everyone just seemed so cool! If you see yourself or a friend, let me know and I can tag them if they'd like!

I have so many photos that I’ll have to upload them at some point but, it was so good to be in con mode again. All of Saturday was busy and then Yard House was honestly a great vibe and service was perfection 🫶

It’s been a long hard year or so for my family and I, at the end of this summer we’ve decided to make the HUGE step to move to follow a new path for our lives. I’m nervous but mostly excited. I’m hoping with the move, I’ll find a renewed vigor for the things I once loved so dearly, like cosplay. The spark is already alight with ideas, knowing I’ll be able to access my costumes again, and have a space to craft.
.
But what does that really mean for this hobby? I’m not entirely sure. I suppose this year and a half break was needed to reflect and know, this is something I love. Meeting new people, but mostly, wearing costumes of characters I admire with people I love.
.
There is nothing crazy cooking up in my headspace, just know, I AM coming back. I intend to be at Holiday Matsuri in December for the first time, and back in business at Katsucon 2022. Past that, who knows what the future holds, but I’m excited for it, and excited to start seeing all you incredible folks again.
.
Stay safe everyone! See you soon! In the mean time, have some adorable Yuku and Kenma action to pass the time.
