POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I wrapped S1 of my podcast @indecisivemomentspodcast over the summer and I’m really proud that it’s now out there in the world. Nearly 90 % of podcasts never make it past ep 3 and I completely understand why. It’s hard work and the learning curve is very steep. But I couldn’t be more grateful to my guests who were so open and vulnerable in these conversations with me. Each and every one stayed with me and even changed me a tiny bit. If you have listened to any episodes, I’d love to hear your honest thoughts. It really means a lot!

I’m currently recording S2 and can’t wait to share that with you 💌

Friday night felt less like a regular gathering, but more like a room where everyone could finally loosen their shoulders a little.

There were conversations that lingered, quiet moments that felt comforting, and an energy that made the space feel deeply alive in the gentlest way.

What made After Hours: Power Room special wasn’t just the ambience, but the women showing up with honesty, curiosity, softness, and presence.
‌
It’s rare to find spaces where you can simply arrive as you are. And maybe that’s exactly why nights like this stay with us.

Thank you for being part of it 🤍

🧿 SEEING x A RADICAL EYE ON CARE 🧿

TAKEOVER by @eyemamaproject
FOR #MaternalMentalHealthAwarenessWeek
AT @motherlondon & grateful for the eyes. 👀

Day 2 x I AM HERE

Hey mama lovers and children — Karni here, founder curator mama of Eye Mama Project.
A bit of a personal intro , I started this project during deep dark lockdown, navigating motherhood as an artist & filmaker, with anxiety and exhaustion thrown in as well (no sleep and herniated disc too along the way) . When I couldn’t find honest visual representations of real motherhood, the kind I was feeling, i was moved to created what I felt was missing — a portfolio of photography worldwide depicting the imperfect beautiful challenging journey that is care and motherhood. A personal introspective eye of the dark and light by photographers!
That became the seed for Eye Mama project , my third “baby” of eye and heart.
Read more below.and links in bio.thanks for seeing.

TODAY IS ALSO INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE MIDWIFE. #internationaldayofthemidwife AND PERSONALLY IM SO GRATEFUL TO THEM LIKE SO MANY OTHER WOMEN AND MAMAS ARE.

About Eye Mama:
Founded in 2021 by filmmaker and photographer Karni Arieli, Eye Mama is a global photographic movement celebrating motherhood truths in all its forms, it brings visibility to real experiences beyond idealised narratives. 70k images and counting. Featured in major global publications, and award winning, it now also operates as a non-profit. So share this vision to support us. With love

Ghana left me thinking.

Not about what worked but about what holds.

Because it’s one thing to create a room.
It’s another thing to carry it across places, people, expectations.

Lagos set the standard.
Ghana refined it.

Now we test it. USA Edition ,Texas is next.

Not to repeat anything but to see if the standard holds in a different kind of room.

And Canada?

Canada will stretch it , different pace. Different people. Same expectation.

This is how you know something is real , when it travels well.

Houston.
Toronto.

10 guest speakers 15 attendees each country only.

The room is becoming very clear.
We’re keeping it small We always will.

Pick your room, Texas or Toronto?

celebrated 30 days of posting w/ @adobeuk VIP Community Mixer 🍸 🤪

The past 30 days have shown me a lot, but most importantly that showing up not only for your community but also for yourself is imperative.
the more you show up, the more rooms like these will feel like second nature.

thank you to the Adobe team (@pketron & @stephenbaloglu) for including me in the community for the past year, I’m excited to see where and how our relationship goes and grows in 2026! 🙌🏾 🥳

let’s keep posting because we have an industry to conquer, boos!

remember - cringe is an under explored emotion, let’s have fun and educate ourselves and others this year!

A few moments from the last couple of days and still slightly in that “did that really just happen?” feeling. I was so anxious going to this, literally shaking but I showed up and had the best time.

Being surrounded by so many inspiring, talented creatives and hearing their stories, their journeys, and their perspectives was something I will carry with me for a long time.

It is wild to think how much life can shift, through small decisions… following what feels right, even when it doesn’t fully make sense yet. From working as a nurse in the NHS to now building a design studio and attending spaces like this, it will never not feel like a pinch me moment.

Grateful for @adobeuk for everything 🫶🏽
