🎬 - CLAYFACE DUBAI PREMIERE
📍 - Dubai Mall, Reel Cinemas (Dolby Atmos: Screen 7)

Yesterday night, I had the privilege of attending the Dubai premiere of the latest horror installment in the DCU: Clayface, thanks to the invite by @coco_comms and @warnerbrosme, as well as the lovely hosting by @reelcinemas and @dolby_mena!

Honestly....what a film! A POWERHOUSE performance from Tom Rhys, an absolutely harrowing score by Volker Bertelmann and fresh themes such as body horror make Clayface one of (if not) the best DCU films of all time. Some of the frames were so spine-chilling and disgusting...yet somehow, I could barely take my eyes off the screen. My biggest highlight was how almost 80-90% of the horror was shot close-up, which made it 10x even more digusting. A crowd-pleasing film that will enthrall both DC fans and horror fans.
Definitely JadenReviews APPROVED and a certified cinema watch!

🐋 WHALEFALL
📍 Reel Cinemas DOLBY, Dubai Marina Mall
📅 14 October 2026
🎬 Presented by Italia Film Middle East and Walt Disney Company
⭐ 7.5/10 ~ “A claustrophobic dive into survival.”

🎬 Directed by Brian Duffield; starring Austin Abrams as Jay Gardiner, Josh Brolin as Mitt, Elisabeth Shue, John Ortiz, Jane Levy and Emily Rudd.

After diving to find his late father’s remains, Jay is swallowed by a sperm whale, with only an hour of oxygen to escape.

✅ WHAT WENT WELL
🎥 Stunning underwater cinematography and eerie visuals.
😰 Claustrophobic sequences that made every breath feel precious.
🎭 Austin Abrams brings fear and vulnerability to Jay’s fight for survival.

⚠️ EVEN BETTER IF
⏳ Flashbacks sometimes interrupt the suspense.
💔 The father-son drama can feel overly sentimental.
🐋 Some survival moments stretch believability.

🏁 FINAL VERDICT
Visually striking and intensely claustrophobic, Whalefall delivers a memorable survival thriller, even if its pacing and emotional detours keep it from reaching its full potential.

Huge thanks to @reelcinemas and @italiafilm.me for an amazing premiere! The deep-diving suits and full-gear activations brought the underwater survival theme to life, making the experience even more immersive. 🤿🌊

💬 Would you dare to dive knowing you could end up inside a whale? How would you escape with one hour of oxygen?

The Hero Collection… ENTERS THE WORLD WARRIOR TOURNAMENT!

ROUND 1: United Arab Emirates

Hadouken! The Hero Collection attended the Dubai Premiere of Street Fighter, and it was time to select our fighter!

From the fantastic activations and incredible cosplayers to the arcade cabinet bringing those classic coin-op memories flooding back, the event was a knockout!

And the movie? A whole lot of fun! Whether you’re a hardcore World Warrior or one of the new challengers discovering the franchise for the first time, there’s plenty here to get excited about. FIGHT!

A huge thank you to Four Star Films and Reel Cinemas at Dubai Mall for hosting us and delivering a fantastic event.

There was no plane. Just a room LG and Dolby turned into one.

Spent the evening inside LG’s 2026 Home Entertainment Tour in Dubai, and the Sound Suite is the real story — not a soundbar, not a speaker, an entire room engineered to move sound around you. Paired with the OLED W6 and running on Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, wireless surround finally feels like it means something.
