Not sure how this happened as I used to run a mile (well, not run, but waddle) whenever I saw or smelled a sprout. But for the past two weeks I have been absolutely obsessed with them.

What’s your favourite vegetable? Which one do you despise?

DO·VINO. 🍷✨

🇪🇸 FREE OLIVE OIL TASTING IN MARBELLA 🫒

If you’re exploring Marbella Old Town, save this little local gem. 📍

D·Oliva is a beautiful gourmet shop tucked away on Calle Nueva, right in the heart of the Old Town — and yes, you can enjoy an olive oil tasting for FREE. 🫒✨

They’ll introduce you to different Spanish extra virgin olive oils, explain how they’re produced, where they come from and how to actually taste and recognise the different flavours.

🇪🇸 And it’s not just about olive oil.

Inside, you’ll find a lovely selection of Andalusian & Spanish products, from wines and gourmet foods to chocolates, vinegars, salts and natural cosmetics made with olive oil. It’s also a great place to pick up a unique food souvenir from Andalusia.

The team is incredibly friendly and happy to explain everything, which makes the experience feel much more personal than simply walking into a shop and buying a bottle.

💡 GOOD TO KNOW:
The tasting is free, but I’d recommend contacting them before you go to make sure they have availability. You can also walk in and ask, but they sometimes have groups, so booking ahead is definitely the safest option.

D·Oliva has been in Marbella’s Old Town since 2008 and specialises in high-quality Spanish extra virgin olive oils, with a selection of more than 70 oils. 🇪🇸🫒 (Doliva)

And fun fact: Spain is the world’s leading producer of olive oil, so this is definitely one of those experiences that makes sense when you’re in Andalusia. 🌿

Poco a poco. Tienda a tienda. Mesa a mesa.
